About Microsoft Forms
A cloud-based data collection application that helps organizations collect feedback information in real-time through forms and surveys.
MS Forms is easy to pick up and use by any user and will suffice for most use-cases. Included in most MS 365 subscriptions.
However apart from the tremendous efforts and features the software has limited integrations with other third-party applications, which may limit its functionality.

User-Friendly features of Microsoft Forms
Comments: Great, To be honest. It had always been my helping hand.
Pros:
Wherever I have to ask my friends or my colleagues, about going on a trip or taking a decision on something important. I prefer using Microsoft Forms. This gives me an option to create a customised form for to send it to my friends and colleagues for their opinion. And also genrates a graph according to the results generated by my poll.
Cons:
Nothing as of now. I had been using from past 2 years, and till then I didn't faced a single problem in any functioning.
Alternatives Considered:
Microsoft form easy to showcase data
Comments: Ther interface is straightforward to use and adapt to. It's not something that needs to be learned and or trained on.
Pros:
I like that it can download the data into an Excel sheet to showcase all the numbers. Also, the varieties have a pie chart to show the results visually. From an admin and participant perspective it is a very well-rounded software that doesn't differ too much. The options of question types are not confusing and doesn't clear on to help you what goal you're trying to achieve. I appreciate the existing template that is being offered currently. It's a good range for people to begin with and it showcases that i
Cons:
From an admin side: I feel that it would be useful in a technical aspect, to put ideal background wallpaper format size for users to be aware that if it isn't this particular size, the image will be stretched. Because its usually come as a surprise for when users upload their own images. OR to integrat Microsoft designer into Forms.

For microsoft users
Comments: Great when you working in a microsoft environnement
Pros:
- Intuitive interface - Integrated to O365 - Theme using - Instant repport
Cons:
- Limited features if you compare with google forms or zoho forms - Basic deign and interface - Limited repport options
Everything from basic to complex
Comments: Overall I much prefer Microsoft Forms over other forms like surveymonkey. I found it easy to make basic forms and with a little time you can even do more complex forms. We have used it for simple forms like satisfaction surveys to forms used to register for online webinars. It is very versatile.
Pros:
It is very easy to make forms with different options of questions.
Cons:
It seems like you have to constantly log in to see the results. As far as I can tell you can't get a regular update sent to you with the results.
A marketing managers view of MS Forms
Comments: Overall it is an easy to use and quick way to gather information in a survey from work colleagues or external agencies. It looks professional and has the capabilities to collect different types of survey information.
Pros:
Creating a form is easy. With no training or tutorials, it is possible to create a title, questions and types of questions, such as multiple choice, ratings, etc. You can then email a link to the survey from your email account. It even creates a report of the survey which you can download, when complete.
Cons:
It is not easy finding when the survey is complete, or progress on how many people have completed the survey, without going into the forms.
An excellent option for 365 organizations
Pros:
Forms is an excellent product for surveys and forms, internal and external, and a critical part of the 365 organizational suite. It can integrate with Lists and Power Automate to increase functionality, and has many options for controlling settings and security. The synced results spreadsheets are extremely helpful.
Cons:
The way you have to designate a Form to a personal account or a Team is a little goofy and can have some unintended consequences if not carefully managed (who has access, etc.). It's also very easy to create forms, but a little too easy to change them.
Great tool for surveys and data collection
Comments: I've used it for a variety of functions including collecting feedback, quizzing, and collecting data to be analysed. It's easy for people to click the link and answer the questions - I've never had anyone tell me that they couldn't figure it out when I've sent them a link.
Pros:
Easy and intuitive to use to create forms, surveys, polls, quizzes, etc. I like that you can send out to employees and the system will automatically record their names.
Cons:
The reports that are auto-generated are great, however it would be amazing if we could select which type of chart is displayed. I like pie charts for some things, and bar charts for other things. Currently, the only way to do this is to export the data to Excel and create the charts there.
Alternatives Considered:
Good software, but not the best
Comments: I would recomment Microsoft forms to any company that is committed to the Microsoft software suite. But if you are looking to get started, there are more user friendly options available.
Pros:
Microsoft forms integrates well with Word and Excel.
Cons:
Other form creation software is easier to use for our employees.

MS Forms Is the Best Survey Creating Tool
Comments: I love forms and it has made many of my surveys easy to create. With MS Forms I can create surveys even when the request for a survey by management is issued late.
Pros:
MS Forms is very flexible and easy to use. I love the fact that there are many template to choose from to suit what you want to do. You can share forms to mails , ms teams right from the form settings.
Cons:
Not sure if I have identified something bad about forms
Standard for Internal User Surveys
Comments: I've used it more for feedback forms if I create them. I'm most just a user but have created a few.
Pros:
Easily integrates with 365 platform, and can access results from many different communication channels.
Cons:
It is outdated in the layout, not much change there. Not a bad thing necessarily, but necessarily intuitive either compared to other platforms like Qualitrics.
A great tool for building simple and complex surveys
Comments: Overall my experience has been highly positive. Over the years I've used a number of different survey platforms and I would confidently state that MS forms has been my favourite!
Pros:
It's an effective and powerful tool for building both simple and more complex surveys. I love that MS Forms is a really easy product to learn how to use, and I find the UI simple and intuitive to use when designing surveys. The product also enables the creation of more complex surveys. For example, the option to branch respondents off in different directions based on the answers they provide is so valuable for me in my role as a researcher! It's also all helpfully integrated into the Microsoft 365 platform, meaning that no extra subscription is needed (this is a big benefit over competitors like SurveyMonkey!).
Cons:
One thing which is a drawback for me is the fact that it is not possible to see the URL of the page the respondent was on when they filled out the survey. In some scenarios this doesn't matter, but depending on the purpose of the survey this can be important info to capture.
Alternatives Considered:
Great tool, included in Microsoft 365
Comments: I can create a form quite quickly and I can download the answer in an excel file that I manage with VBA macros. So I can create reports automatically
Pros:
It is very easy to create a form and feel more secure from the privacy point of wiew
Cons:
The forms are not attractive as the ones created with typeform.
Simple but great tool
Comments: Microsoft forms provide an easy way to create surveys, RSVPs, or sign-up. While the options for design are limited the ease of use and instant publication make it convenient and simple to use.
Pros:
Easy to create a form for RSVPs, surveys, and to customize.
Cons:
There are limited options for layouts and custom designs.
Great for Sign-Out Sheets!
Comments: My overall experience with Microsoft Forms has been positive. Its friendly interface makes it easy for users to create anything they want. From creating a pole to a sign-out sheet, Microsoft Forms offers users everything they need.
Pros:
Microsoft Forms is a great product for multiple purposes. As a teacher, I use Microsoft Forms all the time. The first thing I used the software for was to create a sign-in and out of the classroom form. I was able to print off a QR code for students to scan when leaving the classroom. Administration requires us to turn in a sheet that shows which students left the classroom at the end of the week. Microsoft Forms made this task so much easier. All I had to do was print off the responses and submit them. One of the most impressive aspects of Microsoft Forms is its real-time collaboration and sharing options. It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft 365 apps like Excel and Teams, enabling easy data analysis and sharing.
Cons:
Microsoft Forms does have its limitations. It lacks customization options compared to other forms software. This could be a plus for some but a con for others.
MS Forms - Best, Easy and Reliable tool for forms
Comments: Overall, for simple tasks like taking feedback and small survey in best relaible way, this is fantastic tool.
Pros:
I have used MS forms to take feedback of my trainees. It is very simple and easy to create feedback forms. Since my organisation only provide access to MS software, this is easy and fully complaint to our IT policy. Best, easy and reliant.
Cons:
Add more features like taking signatures without signing (for contracts or tool box talks) More features like for quiz also True or False etc.
Great for Quick Surveys
Comments: I use Microsoft Forms whenever I need to quickly get student feedback for my classroom. I also use the software to keep track of student bathroom breaks. I have them scan a QR code I created so they can easily sign in and out when they need to leave the room. We are required to have documentation of this so using Microsoft Forms makes it very easy for teachers.
Pros:
I like that I can make a quick survey for my students. I am also able to easily make a QR code so students can easily scan to find the form they need.
Cons:
One con is you can't view the names of students in alphabetical order.
Has limitations but still gets the job done
Comments: Microsoft Forms makes the process of gathering data online through surveys , a lot easier for I and my team.
Pros:
Password protection for survey forms is top on the list of what I have been most impressed with on Microsoft Forms. Setting password protection for survey forms , helps to greatly reduce unauthorized third party access to my surveys.
Cons:
Microsoft Forms lacks a mobile app, and real time group collaboration provisions for survey creation is absent. These are key limitations that have greatly affected the efficiency of my team when creating surveys using Microsoft Forms.

A small business's dream come true
Comments: We knew we needed a program to track objective and subjective assessments of clients progress. We knew what questions we wanted answered, and we knew whom we needed to answer each set of questions. With that knowledge, we began looking for a product that could provide that. What we found was software that either did not meet our needs or software that was geared towards large healthcare organizations with budgets exponentially larger than ours. Thankfully we found Forms in a Microsoft Bundle we had purchased. We didn't know we needed it, but by sheer luck, we ended up with it and decided to give it a try. For a minimal investment of time and no capital investment, we have created the program that didn't previously exist. I can't say enough about the ability of Forms to meet our needs.
Pros:
Microsoft Forms allows us to create questionnaires for our staff, students, and families in very little time. These forms and the reporting that follows them influence our decisions for client progression. It has allowed us to take a variety of sources of information and condense them into quantifiable results.
Cons:
For what we needed, it requires someone with the technical knowledge to operate Forms and the operational knowledge to know what questions needed to be asked. Without both, it would be rather useless. Luckily for us, we are overloaded with operational knowledge, and the relative ease of using Forms means that we have multiple people capable of handling the actual creation.
