About Microsoft SharePoint
Content management solution that helps businesses with desktop sharing and viewing, text annotations, instant messaging, and whiteboard
The ease of managing files and folders with high volume data. To be able to manage sharing of files easily with relevant people makes the app good value for money.
I also really dislike that when I want to share a "forced copy" of a document to a client, so the client can just make his/her own copy, I am unable to do so.

MY CANDID EXPERIENCE USING MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT
Comments: It's been effective so far. Although, the time we encountered an issue, the customer service rep was able to get it solved in due time.
Pros:
- Very easy to customize - It manages documents without error
Cons:
- It's a little bit expensive to set up. - It's also sometimes unresponsive when searching

Robust foundations
Comments: Very good and easy to use platform to develop many workflows, co-working spaces and to store documents
Pros:
A great platform for collaboration, presentation, intranet, automation / digitalization of business processes, which is basically "free" as part of the preset of the vast majority of companies using MS 365
Cons:
The simplicity of use and deployment has its price in not too much flexibility to customize the final look, which is simply ... standard
Daily team collaboration in a shared approach using Microsoft’s SharePoint
Comments: I have been using for 4+ years . This tool is very much a part of the daily routine at all the organisations I have worked for. Mostly I use it to track the progress of the tasks, the automation test cases written. I share my progress along with my team members, Product manager, technical manager. This helps in tracking my goals and tasks done. Overall a positive experience
Pros:
I really like the real time collaboration idea, Microsoft sharepoint introduces. We can actually share links of same document and collaborate. This helps in tracking team information may be related to tasks, leaves, etc. I also like the Single sign on it has, prevents me from logging in again and again. It is simple, easy to learn and very comprehensive
Cons:
The mobile experience of this platform has scope of improvement. The costing is slightly on the higher side. Customisation of the UI is limited, can be improved.
A good product for medium companies
Comments: its 7 out of 10, mainly because of the cost
Pros:
the integration with Microsoft and the Document management aggregated with workflow automations
Cons:
complex to learn and performance issues, that I faced already, due to the large volume of data
Alternatives Considered:
SharePoint, does so much, but forgot a couple things.
Comments: It's just incredibly easy to use, but the drawbacks it has are silly and makes it feel like it's 90% baked.
Pros:
It's honestly currently the easiest way to share files on the Internet while having very strong customization options. The fact that I can share a file, prevent it's download and give an expiration timer in the same tool I use to host my data is huge.
Cons:
The over-reliance on SharePoint as a solution by Microsoft. Share files on teams? Thats SharePoint. Save to OneDrive? That's also SharePoint. Share a file link with a friend from excel or other Microsoft suite tools? Yep, SharePoint. There's also a severe lack of tools on power automate for SharePoint integration. Why can't I rename a file while moving it on SharePoint?
Revolutionizing Content Sharing for Companies
Comments: The best and friendly solution to organize, share and restrict documents and many other content inside and outside the company
Pros:
overall features, integration with workplace and devices, user friendly
Cons:
price, sometimes brainy in permission management
Large document storage and daily useful
Comments: I use this product daily, it helps me a lot, i can storage as many documents i need.
Pros:
You can easily share all your documents here; it helps you a lot, because you can find them easily and you can create as many folders as you wish
Cons:
It's a great product, very useful and it has a large document storage; there is nothing to improve
A must for team files
Pros:
Easy to use with a short learning curve. Works well for team collaboration and removes makes it easy to control access to files.
Cons:
Nothing I can think of with any substance. I mean, it would be nice if there was a bit more flexibility in how I can design the page, but that's a small thing.
Works so well! A must have!
Comments: Love it! We store our department info and help sheets that we can all access, which I love.
Pros:
File management works so well, makes managing them as a team very easy.
Cons:
I definitely struggled orienting myself in the user interface at first, but once you get how it works, it's a must have tool.
Secured Tasks Sharing
Comments: It is a very good plat form to store and share document.
Pros:
Easy to share tasks with coworkers securely.
Cons:
There was one incident where another coworker deleted all the files when she cleaned up her laptop.
Microsoft SharePoint helps get and keep you organized.
Comments: We switched from Google Docs to Microsoft SharePoint and haven't looked back. It is has been a much better choice for our company. It feels more seamless and organized.
Pros:
I like that Microsoft SharePoint allows the company to view, share and edit documents.
Cons:
I find that most of the things that were difficult for us in Microsoft SharePoint is user error more than the product itself.
SharePoint - the Best Document Management Program
Comments: I've used it all day every day for the past 15 years.
Pros:
SharePoint does everything I need to maintain and securely store my documents: backups, version control, search and retrieval.
Cons:
I don't like that I have to page through my document libraries instead of being able to jump forward or backwards. For example, it would be good to jump to the documents by the first letter of the document's name.

Cons:
I wish that it integrated with Loop and DevOps.
Microsoft SharePoint: A Central Hub for a Microsoft Workshop
Comments: Overall, the experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been good. It serves as a place to manage multiple Microsoft platforms, from planning, to document storage, to Power BI. I could not imagine working in a Microsoft Workspace without it.
Pros:
Microsoft SharePoint is a central source for curating content for external and internal stakeholders in the Microsoft 365 environment. It has served me and my team well in becoming our team site and initial landing space for business developments.
Cons:
To fully embrace Microsoft SharePoint, means embracing the Microsoft Workshop. Depending on your permission, you may be able to connect to other platforms but the workaround may not be worth it.
Great tool for files sharing on your project
Comments: My overall experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been mixed. It’s a powerful tool for document management and collaboration, with excellent integration into the Microsoft ecosystem. However, its complexity and occasional performance issues can make it challenging to use effectively without proper training or support.
Pros:
Centralized document storage and sharing, seamless integration with Microsoft Office, customizable workflows, version control, and robust collaboration features.
Cons:
Complex setup and maintenance, steep learning curve, occasional performance issues, and limited flexibility for non-Microsoft integrations.
Microsoft SharePoint a multipurpose application.
Comments: Overall I think the app is very functional. I got more done with just one application. It is worth the price and I always recommend to others.
Pros:
I loved that it allowed me to upload documents from Court can be easily dragging or uploading the file. I no longer have to send an email to the parties. I can sign documents and download same within a short period of time.
Cons:
I have not had any dislike about the platform.
Stephen Kihiu Microsoft Sharepoint Review
Pros:
1. Microsoft Sharepoint is easy to use and easy to train on and the UI is very easy to follow. 2. Microsoft SharePoint has made collaboration and communication in our organization better.
Cons:
1. Some customizations and integrations to Microsoft SharePoint are not easy to maneuver. This is something that Microsoft could look into
Usage of Microsoft Sharepoint for Content Management
Pros:
Ease of use and a relevant tool to share documents and presentations with Team members. The integration to O365 is simple and efficient.
Cons:
Sometimes, the synchronization with local documents saved in the notebook can cause problems in document contents.
Average, but it's included with your Microsoft 365 subscription
Comments: Overall average experience, benefits were it was part of our existing tech stack and so low cost however it is difficult to navigate for end users, and there are much more intuitive intranet products out there.
Pros:
Plugins to other microsoft products, supports linking and embedding
Cons:
Not very intuituive to navigate for users or build within it for admins

Microsoft SharePoint Is a Great App.
Comments: The software has a user-friendly interface and intuitive features that make it easy to navigate and perform tasks.
Pros:
The software has helped me a lot in sharing important documents and submissions easily and can be accessed easily by the end party. Overall, the software is well balanced, and it has great features.
Cons:
The software is excellent and meets most of my needs, but it could improve on some aspects, such as: The modified folder doesn't have any choices to save my previous settings for each folder. Another con is that if I open the notebook, there is no option to go back directly to the SharePoint interface. You need to go back to App Launcher and open from there, where it is very inconvenient if you are in a hurry to do things quickly.
One of the most handy organizational tools at the office
Comments: SharePoint has saved me a lot of valuable time throughout my career through hosting of reports and projects.
Pros:
Hosting of projects which users can access and view from anywhere at any time, hosting eliminates emailing project work or presentation to a distribution list, ease of use.
Cons:
Took a long time to get to know all of the useful ins and outs because there's so much functionality, but have been using for years so no problem at all.
It's our resources hub for users.
Comments: It has fostered a more connected and collaborative work environment. It has improved communication, streamlined information sharing, and empowered employees to access the resources they need to do their jobs effectively.
Pros:
SharePoint has become the central hub for our organization's intranet, connecting employees, departments, and information seamlessly. I love the ability to create team sites, share documents, manage workflows, and build custom applications to meet our specific needs. The integration with other Microsoft 365 apps enhances collaboration and streamlines our daily work.
Cons:
Although SharePoint offers powerful features, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit complex, requiring some technical expertise and planning.
Sharepoint is best suited for collaboration and file storage
Comments: Very easy to setup and maintain Any SharePoint site created that has added me as a member shows up in MS teams under the Teams section so very easy to maintain
Pros:
Can be easily created from MS Teams and accessed directly from MS Teams. The online SharePoint site is automatically created and can be accessed from MS teams. Use it for file storage and collaboration with a set of team members.
Cons:
When multiple users are working on the same file in SharePoint there is always sync issues and one of the user has to close the file before the other user can save his progress
Sharepoint the DMS you need
Comments: My overall impression of sharepoint is that this system can be used very well and versatile. Due to the easy customizability, business processes can also be mapped and even various release processes.
Pros:
The integration with all other microsoft 365 products is amazing. Because everything is connected, cross-refrences can be created and linked directly. Furthermore, the link with entraid makes it possible to include a good authorization concept.
Cons:
The admin interface is currently still a bit outdated, but it is not a blocker.
Thumbs up over here
Comments: Really positive experience using SharePoint
Pros:
Having everything in one place, quick links to regularly visited sites. Staff had there own individual folders that tutor could access to find lesson plans
Cons:
Nothing to be honest, a minute things that I wasn’t able to set it up as my home page but that was most likely due to my computer.
