Pros:

Getting 7Shifts set up was super easy! The process to integrate with the other platforms that we use was also very simple. This is important because not all companies have an IT department that can blow through tech set up. 7Shifts can be used by anyone.

Cons:

The only complaint I have is the that you aren't able to use the tip management feature unless you use 7shifts' payroll processing as well.

Comments: it is easy to use but really nothing really service from 7shift

Pros:

easy to see and easy to know what it is but really software is empty

Cons:

It was lot of spaces and not specific details about team members and time management. I really had hard time to scheduling from 7 shift. It is not specific about there working total time and total earning from restaurant

Would be even better with a few improvements, overall still great!

Comments: Overall has been good, easier to use compared to similar platforms, the interface is very natural. It's very affordable, for its basic uses.

Pros:

Love that it integrates with TOAST POS. We use schedule enforcement and sales and labor forecasting on the budget tool. It's easy to use and the app for employees is straightforward. The functions are basic but important without any fluff...Nothing is hard to find.

Cons:

Customer service has really gone downhill in the last 5 years. Also they have only 2 management tiers (manager and assistant manager) and "managers" can't modify other mangers, so you have to have admins in each location and reach out to support to add and remove admins. I have suggested to them they should create a super admin position, but no avail.

Very Valuable Tool

Comments: Has been a great tool in the daily operation of our business.

Pros:

The ability to mange multiple schedules. Distribute it easily. Communicate with the team. View sales and sale comparisons. Save daily logs.

Cons:

Not fully integrated with POS so that we could pull individual employee sales or receipts or see PMIX reports.

A great tool for employee management

Pros:

It has been a great tool for team management and scheduling of tasks. It helps to effectively communicate with the team. It comes with a user-friendly interface, making it very useful for both managers and employees. Pricing of the software is also quite competitive.

Cons:

Customer support can be improved a bit. Sometimes, there comes a lag while updating the task progress. Otherwise, it is a good tool

Everyone is able to see their shifts in real time and all in one place

Ease of using the platform is if there. Some things are not user friendly. Can’t print unless published etc

Comments: Good product for the money and they are continuing to inovate.

Pros:

One of the best parts of 7shifts is that you're not paying per user. We have inactive users away at college, and have access for our owners and accountants, but we're not paying more just to keep them on the schedule. 7shifts also allows us to categorize staff together based on position which is helpful.

Cons:

When you view one position at a time, compared to all positions, the organization of employees is jumbled.

Easy, accessible, quick,multifunctional toll done GREAT

Pros:

Seeing the schedule, access to your pay stub and seeing how much you made after your shift with tax taken out ( depending on your state) Notifications when schedule changed. Notifications when your shift starts in an hour 🙌, access to pay stubs easily, you can see whos scheduled when and get their contact as needed . Also great for communication between the team!

Cons:

Not sure if its something on our end ( probably is) but we changed systems and now use spot on . And we no longer can connect timesheet or or see the paystubs.. cant verify vlock in. Its not connected. Weve been told it will take 2 weeks to transfer everything over and its been over 2 - 3months . Not sure if thr system we use doesnt want to connect or if its something on our admin office end .

Employees love it!

Comments: Makes employee communication easier. The fact that they can put up a shift and get it covered without anything but observation makes it a really valuable product

The employees are clear on when they are scheduled.

Easy to use for even non-tech savvy employees with an added time clock as a bonus feature

Comments: Overall a very consistence experience with no glitches. Notifications of new schedules were received promptly, time clock feature integrated with main app to account for and track work hours. Happy with functionality and ease of use of 7shifts

Pros:

Ease of use and navigation for employees. Also really liked the integrated time clock feature.

Cons:

No cons noticed while using 7shifts. One challenge was having to use one workplace device for staff to clock-in, which at times would not be plugged in and the device would die. It would have been nice to integrate clock-in feature so employees could use time clock on their own devices. This may exist as a feature now though.

workable scheduling app

Pros:

Easy to maintain a schedule and put a shift up for grabs. You can track your hours and see who you are working with. I like that it automatically tells you the manager on duty and the ability to message them directly. I like that feature where you can give a shout out I think that is different and unique. I like the ability to look up anyone in 7shifts and message them directly or create a group message.

Cons:

I think maybe the layout could use some improvement
