Profitbooks- A great tool for businesses starting out and beginning to grow.

Comments: I have found a one stop solution for invoicing and product inventory management with Profitbooks. They have a view only mobile app that helps me keep track of my business sales as well. I am very satisfied with this product! Kudos.

Pros:

The invoicing and estimate features of Profitbooks are smooth beyond a doubt. Adding new services, products and clients to the system is exceptionally easy as well. The design of the invoice is professional and clean, and you can incorporate all necessary legal details into the invoice and then export according to your preference.

Cons:

Advanced customization including font changes, further design changes would be appreciated. Drag and drop instead of click only would also be a welcome bonus.

General Overview of Profitbooks accounting software

Comments: It's working perfectly and gives accurate results. Also, it's cost effective when compared to other apps.

Pros:

It shows accurate and effective reports at all times.

Cons:

Roles and Permissions for other Users should have more filter options for other users i.e enable view, or disable

Comments: It is good

Pros:

The Easiness in operation and invoicing. Also it is very easy to search and find the customer outstanding and invoices.

Cons:

The software is incapable of data analysis and especially in expense management and COGS finding. We are still using Excel sheet

I love the Project feature which lets you track income/expenses for a project or for a group of customers/clients ... very cool .... it's my favorite feature

Excellent Software

Comments: Overall the software is very good. A person without knowledge of accounting can also operate.

Pros:

Easy to use and to set-up. Best part is that it is cloud-based, hence need not to install or upgrade and can be accessed from any device. All new features are added at the back end and can be accessed without any step at the user-end. Also the security checks are maintained to refrain unauthorized login.

Cons:

Reports cannot be customized as of now. May be in near future this feature can be added.

It provides a solution to small to medium sized enterprises at an affordable price. Its easy to set up. It fits in most business scenarios. It is comprehensive

it should give a room for customizations since some businesses require additional unique features that are not generic to all businesses

Data backup futures, it would be great if the backup is intensive as without Internet and not able to access my information

Comments: Its a great software, simple and very user friendly at the same time packs in most of invoicing and inventory features. Would be looking forward to a good upgrade to their app.

Its simplicity. It has a very user friendly interface but packs in a lot of functionality. Love the data thats displayed in the home screen.

Cons:

Not sure about the app as it is in its developing phase. Would be great if they include more functionality in the app like invoicing and purchase order generation right from the app so that customers can use the app to issue purchase orders.

Wholistic Accounting Software

Comments: I can rely on all accounting data on ProfitBooks. My bookkeeper can work simultaneously on the same data.

Pros:

The product is very easy to use and customer support gives a lot of confidence to use the software.

Cons:

Need documentation management. It will help in online record keeping.

Profit Books Review

Pros:

Being able to add and amend products. Different categories, being able to insert my info that I want displayed on my invoices. Although I don't use the functions, being able to keep track of purchases, expenses, clients, suppliers,, stock, payments received/outstanding

Cons:

I am not able to make small amendments to my personal info that I want displayed on the invoices. I had to amend terms and conditions when a client didn't pay me and have to cover myself for future instances

The software is good though needs improvements on various areas.

Comments: E-invoice, cloud based accounting.

Pros:

The software is cloud based. I can share the invoice on email. The invoice format is presentable. It enables us to use our logo on it.

Cons:

1. It's not user friendly 2. The period needs to be inserted every time you open a ledger 3. Sometimes it stops working 4. There are few types of entries which do not allow attaching a scanned document For reimbursement voucher, I can't attach a document.

Comments: Managing finance & accounting as been very helpful. Work load as reduced quite comfortably.

Pros:

Features are good. Enables filing Taxes. Enables major reports. Network is proper. easy to use. Easy to equip with the software.

Cons:

No proper options of changing the format for getting the required reports. Reports does not include products.

Comments: Super easy with Invoicing, sale purchase bill entries, inventory management and accounting. All in one place.

Pros:

The interface is very user firendly and even my 70yr old dad can create bills of his own.

Cons:

It is yet a software under development. Yet, the best thing is that all requests or queries are taken as critical almost everytime. Therefore working with the software becomes very easy.

Great for sales teams

Comments: We had bought ProfitBooks for accounting but then soon discovered that it's great for sales teams. We created accounts for our sales staff and assigned them the 'Sales' role. Now, they can create invoices and record payment receipts but can't see other transactions in the business. This is really great. Not sure if any other software has this feature.

Pros:

It's simple to set up and doesn't really require training. It's affordable. Support is good. The option of creating user-specific roles is unique.

Cons:

I feel they should add more tutorials in the help center. Mobile app needs more functionality.
