Step up from Google Forms!

Comments: Jotform is a GREAT step up from Google Forms at an affordable price and a great intermediate between Google and Typeform. If you need a signature or to connect with Stripe, Jotform is a great choice!

Pros:

Jotform allows advanced automation and branching, signature, and purchases. We've been able to set up advanced forms that even allow for custom invoicing. Jotform has incredible customer support. They respond with screenshots and videos publically so that others can also gleam from your questions!

Cons:

Compared to Typeform, Jotform is harder to create branches and you do not have as much control of the design. You cannot create as advanced of automations.

A company that takes care of you

Comments: Almost perfect experience I have to say. Although there are occasional bugs but the number of other quality elements and the platform's competitive pricing makes you ignore these occasional hiccups.

Pros:

Ease of use and excellent, quite responsive, customer service as well as their competitive pricing.

Cons:

Often the custom theme I build for myself breaks down and I have to start it from scratch.

Do not recommend hot form

Comments: I would say mid-level it was not that good

Navigation is not user-friendly It freezes up and you use lose your information

Jotform is Quick, Easy and Free!

Comments: We used Jotform in house for several projects, useful free tool that integrates well by using Zapier.

Pros:

Easy to use and fast to deploy. The forms are especially useful for building surveys or collecting customer data, oh yeah and you can do loads with the free version.

Cons:

Having to pay for features like the Gantt view.

Great with Integrations

Comments: Overall has been very helpful to link to Monday for help desk tracking

Not being able to route a form to someone else for signature

Comments: its been good I created 2 forms for an event for an NGO .

Pros:

The features of Dropbox's, how it allows me to add multiple Dropbox's where participants can add their documents.

Cons:

Multiple users are not allowed to be added unless you have a customized pricing

Best Survey Client Out There!

Comments: I currently use them weekly to send and receive customer forms so I can better serve my new intake clients.

Pros:

SUPER easy to use and very customizable! The free features are amazing as well. I love the ability to clone a survey and send it to someone else to use.

Cons:

I honestly don't have anything negative to say.

Great software

Comments: Jotform is a great asset to any company that wants to sign staff up or any forms that need to be completed it saves time having to do it in manually

Pros:

I like that you can produce staff contracts with ease and I am able to send them out to my staff to fill in which saves time both for my staff and myself not having to invite them into the office

Cons:

I did have difficulty setting up the forms at first it took me a while to get used to the software from using adobe before

Comments: My overall experience is excellent and they are always improving the features

Comments: It is easy to use and assimilate detailed data/ Q&A's.

Pros:

The ease in delivering and receiving data to end users.

Cons:

It is harder to get people on another platform rather than the Google Forms or other sites they use. But the extensions & exporting data are helpful in that regard.

Known for its simplicity and effectiveness. Extensive library of multiple templates.

Comments: Huge amounts of templates and has seamless integration. Perfect for complex workflows with it's advanced technology.

Pros:

Web forms and documents are enormously versatile and Jotform offers the level best services. Collecting customer feedback, performing surveys and managing job applications has been made easy and achievable. Comes with powerful customization which is a key feature for helping us create forms that meets our brand needs. There is also security and privacy of data storage and transmission. It is ultimately my best choice.

Cons:

There is so many services and features that Jotform platform offers. Despite the glitches in preliminaries, it has proven to be the easiest tool to work with. It is quite user-friendly too.

Jotform- keeping its head high in the market with great simplicity

Comments: The best customizable form I have even used

Pros:

1. Comes with excellent automation and auto correct technique 2. It offers over 1000 templates, integrations and widgets 3. It has a drag and drop feature which doesn't need and coding background to work on 4. It protects data by 256 bit-SSL encryption, outstanding

Cons:

1. Expensive than the other competitors in the market 2. The AI's learning curve is very slow and it needs some quick ML to cope up 3. Needs a lot of bandwidth to operate

Very easy to use but a bit pricy.

Comments: Overall, I have found JotForm easy to use and am still learning much of what is available. Their biggest downfall so far is their customer services, they do respond but mainly with generic answers that really do not help with specific enquiries.

Pros:

There is a wide range is fields available which makes forms highly customizable. The form builder interface is easy to use. The final form is clean and well presented, even with the default overlay. There are many integrations to choose from.

Cons:

The price is quite high especially as there are alternatives available that are much cheaper. Support is very sparse and a little erratic with questions being answered is a very generic way. Integrations are not very straightforward to set up.

However, there are areas where it could improve, particularly in terms of customization and mobile app functionality. Despite these minor drawbacks, it remains a valuable asset for both personal and professional projects.

Pros:

User-friendly interface that makes it easy to create forms quickly. Wide variety of templates that cater to different industries and purposes. Drag-and-drop functionality is intuitive, allowing for easy customization of forms. Integration with other tools and services (like Google Sheets, PayPal, etc.) is seamless. Responsive customer support and a helpful community forum.

Cons:

Limited customization options for advanced users without coding knowledge. Some features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which might be a drawback for small businesses. The mobile app could use improvements in terms of usability and feature parity with the web version. Occasionally, there are issues with form submission notifications not being sent out promptly. Performance can be sluggish with more complex or heavily used forms.

Experience since 2023

Comments: very positive, I have been using Jotform since 2023.

Pros:

modular builder, very intuitive. Support very helpful and fast.

Cons:

prices are pretty high, bronze is almost the same price like silver. A cheaper version between bronze and free would be nice.

Essential, With a Touch of Fine-Tuning Needed

Comments: Overall, Jotform has been a real asset to us. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t take a tech expert to manage, and has made our workflows way more efficient. There’s been a huge reduction in paperwork, which means more time for us to focus on our students and community. For us, it’s become a core tool that helps everything run more smoothly.

Pros:

The best thing about Jotform is how flexible and easy it is to use. We run a music school, and we rely on it for so many things—approvals, class sign-ups, financial aid applications, donation forms, you name it. The approval flows are simple to set up, which keeps things moving, and the integrations with our payment processors and Google Drive save us a ton of time on the back end. It feels like the platform just “gets” our needs.

Cons:

I’d say the occasional glitches can be frustrating. Sometimes integrations need to be relinked, approvals don’t always go through, or buttons that were there yesterday seem to disappear today. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s enough that we’ve created a double-check system for ourselves just in case.

Jotform's DIY Apps are amazing

Comments: Jotform is a multifaceted hub for things form-related—and then some. My business considered them for an electronic waiver system, and I ended up using something I didn't even know I needed: their build-your-own app feature, for an employee training materials app.

Pros:

A huge range of functionality. Even at the free (!) level, you can build your own app with a password to access it.

Cons:

There wasn't much to dislike that I found. However, the coding is seemingly different for apps across different OS's; on Apple devices, it is difficult to save and access the app. There are workarounds (i.e. using Safari instead of Chrome to save the app as a shortcut to the home screen). On Android, it worked great!

The most user-friendly product of all for creating all sorts of forms.

Comments: We are lucky to have Jotform since we have gotten ourselves a very reliable form building tool for creating any form we require. Our experience creating forms with Jotform has been flawless and we have been able to fully adopt it within the entire organization.

Pros:

Jotform offers us a single form building tool for creating all sorts of forms that we require. It comes loaded with alot of easy to customize form templates that help us save time when creating our forms. The form builder is easy to use and requires no skills at all. It has comprehensive data analytics tools that help us analyze data filled on the forms.

Cons:

We have not seen any weaknesses with Jotform so far. It has a very intuitive user interface that makes it easy to use.

Great platform

Pros:

One of the things I love most about Jotform is the sheer number of options it offers. Whether you're creating a simple form or a more complex survey, Jotform provides a variety of tools and templates to fit your exact needs. The customization options are extensive, allowing you to tweak everything from design to functionality with ease. From conditional logic and integrations with other platforms to the ability to choose from an array of templates, Jotform makes it incredibly simple to build exactly the form you envision. Having so many choices in one platform really empowers me to tailor every form to my unique needs, making the process efficient and intuitive.

Cons:

While Jotform offers an impressive range of features and customization options, one thing I like the least is the cost. For more advanced features and higher usage limits, the pricing can get steep, especially for smaller organizations or individuals. The free plan is helpful for basic needs, but once you need more form submissions, storage space, or access to more premium features, the subscription fees can feel a bit high. I wish there were more affordable tiers or options that better align with growing organizations that might not yet need the most advanced plans.

JotForm is Efficient and User Friendly!

Comments: Jotform has been extremely beneficial to my role as an Administrator. It's user-friendly software that I can customize any way I like. I love the flexibility of choosing the theme, color, sequence of questions, types of questions, and the ease of sending out the form and having an auto set deadline for final submissions. It's been a real game changer for our organization and my role as the Construction Services Administrator. The import of information is also great because I can use excel to filter the responses and organize the data in easy-to-read format.

Pros:

I love that I can customize everything from the color of the form to the types of questions I can ask (short answer, multiple choice, matrix style, etc...). Jotform really a One Size Fits All solution for our business. We have several different departments and the Admin department uses it for builder surveys, voting on Building of the Year, ordering planners, equipment usge surveys, and more. Personally, I use it to send information to our crews in the field. We have a lot of guys who are less familiar with technology and the customization of the form makes it easy to get all the information I need while making it easy on them. They love how straight-forward it is for the user. They click a link, answer questions, and submit! I appreciate that I can create a custom link to the form. I love how you can personalize it so much, we use our logo on all the forms we send which is a special touch. It's super helpful that I can create a variety of forms and reuse them as needed. Some forms are used multiple times a month, and other forms are used annually; it's wonderful not to have to recreate them from scratch every time. They're just there when I need it. It's so easy to import the responses into a spreadsheet for me to easily track and filter the responses.

Cons:

I do find there is a bit of a learning curve as an Administrator of the program in trying to create the form. I sometimes get confused when trying to edit the different questions and how to do so. Sometimes it takes me quite a bit of trial and error to figure out how to change text in a specific form element, and other times, it takes me only seconds. I also find the way the form shows responses to the matrix (multi-question) tables a bit confusing, as it jumbles all the answers into one cell/response. Thus, when I import to an excel sheet, it's almost like the questions do not separate, it puts all the answers in ONE CELL instead of a cell/column per answer. I don't like that because I have to go and modify it every time. The data collection portion is great, but the importation of data could use some work. However, I am referring to a specific type of data collection, not all are imported poorly.

The best platform for making forms for the last 5 years

Comments: My experience was, I think, in 2020 in another account. I have several accounts. I had to open several accounts because in my small business I cannot pay all the dues for the year because I do not use the website daily. I have some work that comes two or three times a year and I use it for only a month, which has made me not pay.
Maybe later, if there is a lot of demand, I will buy an offer and try

Pros:

Cons:

There was a point where the Arabic language was not accepted, but I think the matter has been fixed Submissions, if you try to study the matter, add them to 200 or a little more I don't think there are any negatives because the platform is everything you are looking for, except for those who do not know how to use the platform

Simplify your life with JotForm!

Pros:

I love the integration with critical products/software I use daily for business and how it has streamlined the process of creating forms. It has saved time and creative energy with the templates already created. I have been able to devote more time to the growth of my business because of the increased productivity and efficiency JotForm has created in my life.

Cons:

The paid plans can be a bit pricey, but it is still worth the investment.

Jotform is simple, and the interface is smooth

Comments: I’ have to use this anytime that I hire an employee. We use this to sign the onboarding agreement, along with employee handbooks, and to sign tax documents.

Pros:

I love how jotform is integrated with PayPal and other platforms, and they don’t take a percentage of the ticket fee!

Cons:

I’ve had Some employees say that onboarding Jotform may take more time than simpler tools.
