Comments: a generally positive experience, especially when I valued accessibility, collaboration, and integration with other Google services. Its user-friendly interface and seamless syncing make file management straightforward.

Pros:

Google Drive is cloud-based, allowing users to access their files from any device with an internet connection.

Cons:

The 15 GB of free storage is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, which can be limiting.

Google Drive - My Go-To Cloud Storage System for Personal, Work, and Business

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I've used Google Drive for years, and anticipate that I will continue to do so for many years to come. It makes it easy for me to separate my cloud files between personal, work, and business. Google Drive remains to be my go-to cloud storage system, and I don't anticipate that I will switch to anywhere else.

Pros:

I love being able to seamlessly store my Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and other files all in once space. It helps that all of the files I create with the Google apps are automatically saved into my Google Drive. Sharing files is also intuitive and quick. I should also note that it's easy to swap between Google Accounts to access one's different Google Drives. For instance, I have a separate one for personal use, my work, and my business.

Cons:

My biggest gripe is Google Drive's sorting system. If you don't have a proper file/folder organization system set up yourself, the Drive becomes easily disorganized. I've had my personal Drive since high school, and it can be cumbersome to find certain files given how many I have. Thankfully, I have a better file/folder organization system in place for my work and business Drives.

Solid competitor and bundled with Google Workplace accounts makes it a goto choice

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: A very workable tool that competes against the likes of OneDrive and box. Has all the features needed for a team to share internally and externally. Compare your needs to your Workplace subscription to make sure you get the right options purchased.

Pros:

Included as part of the Google Suite package which makes it a very cost effective, large bucket of storage. Has thick client plugins for all the major OSs to make daily workflow integration easier.

Cons:

Getting a Team Shared google drive is an upgraded Workplace Suite subscription from google. That should be standard offer.

HUGE fan of Google Drive and the associated products!

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I'm a HUGE fan of Google Drive, Sheet, Docs, Slides, etc.. They are so easy to use and we LOVE it!

Pros:

We use Google Drive, Sheets and Docs all the time for our work and I don't why people use anything else. Makes it easy to use any device, constantly syncing, showing the revision, it's free and can be shared with anyone with a google account and that access removed as needed. I'm always surprised when people don't use Drive because it's that amazing!

Cons:

There are a few features not offered that Microsoft does offer like being able to mail merge and print labels but usually we can find a free add on. But it's rare that we run into something that Drive products can't do.

Google Drive Overall Experience

Comments: I have Google Workspace at my company, and Google Drive is one of its services, and from my experience, I find it to be a good experience on one hand Prices, Storage space, Google Support
It is present in most Android phones, which facilitates the task of dealing with employees

Pros:

Google Drive is distinguished by the fact that it is one of Google built-in services on most Android devices and provides 15GB in the Free Plan in addition to the ability to upload WhatsApp Backup to it easily.

Cons:

I faced many issues with Google Drive like 1- Slow uploading files 2-Do not scan files that are large in size 3- It does not support Sync via Network Path compared to other competitors that support this feature

Practicalities and challenges of Google Drive.

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Google Drive is very practical and reliable with great access and integration. The storage limit and organization could be improved, but it remains essential in my day-to-day life.

Pros:

I really like the cloud storage, Google Workspace integration, real-time collaboration, easy sharing, automatic backup, compatibility, fast search, and security.

Cons:

The cons that I didn't like were the free storage limit of only 15 GB, the need for an internet connection, the sync speed, file organization, version control, privacy, collaboration limitations, and limited integration with other software.

Insights from Years of Regular Years.

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: My overall experience with Google Drive a excellent. Except just one point of less drive storage in the free plan, rest all features are great. I really like how multiple Google services can be integrated with Google Drive. I use these for my day to day work. This really have made my day to day work very easy. I can work on the same file from across my devices.

Pros:

I have liked the following about Google Drive - 1. Mobility - I can have access to my files while on the move. 2. Availability - I can work on my files or access them from anywhere across the world. 3. Collaboration - I can collaborate with many people to work on the same file at the same time. 4. Back-Up - I really like the back up features of Google Drive. I can back up my files here. 5. Security - I like the security of the data, that comes with Google Drive platform. 6. Versions (File Version History) - This is the best part of Google Drive that I love the most. I can access the changes made to the file by me or anyone else through version history.

Cons:

Though I really like using Google Drive, but I feel that 15GB of free storage is kind of less. Given the file size now a days and other Google services, a cumulative storage of 15GB seems to be less.

Smooth and easy file sharing

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall experience with Google Drive has been amazing. It made file sharing very smooth and the size and quality of the files (documents, picture, video, etc) remains same. Once you change the permission, the effect takes almost immediately after refreshing which is fantastic. It saves a lot of time.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to share files and folders in a organizational level with Google Drive. Also its security feature which allows the admin to set permission with whom we share the file/folder (Ex. view, edit ).

Cons:

i have not faced any issues so far. It is so easy and simple to use.

Google Drive is perfect for freelance writers

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: Google Drive works perfectly for everything that I need it to do.

Pros:

I use Google Drive for a variety of things. I use it to store work related files such as copies of my articles from my WordPress blogs and drafts of my book manuscripts. I also use it to save articles and newsletters that I want to read later and I also use it for personal use to track my penpal letters when I send and receive them.

Cons:

Sometimes if someone shares a file with you and when you click remove from view to remove it from your drive if you don't need it any longer, a lot of times the file will reappear once you refresh the page.

One of the best, stable and familiar cloud storage options in the market

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: - My overall experience with Google drive is positive. I like the product and will continue using it for the foreseable future.

Pros:

- You can get upto 15GB free cloud storage from google drive. If you decide to upgrade for more space, the monthly charges are affordable. The package I currently use is like %2.5 for 100GB of space. This space is enough to store all my documents safely in the cloud. - Google drive works seemlesly with other google products like google sheets, google docs, google calendar, gmail and other google products that we already use and are familiar with. - The automatic syncing of files into google drive on my computer is pretty awesome and gives me confidence and peace of my mind that all my updates have been saved into the cloud.

Cons:

- The free 15GB can be quickly filled up with old emails which can be hard to delete because no one wants to loose data and therefore you will be forced to upgrade to the paid version sooner or later - which not everyone can afford. - You must always have internet connectvity to use google drive. This may not be a viable option for everyone.

Comments: It is a great application for cloud storage and data management at a reasonable cost as accessibility across various platforms.

Pros:
