Comments: My first experience with wix was when I wanted to start a travel blog. It went so well. It is the nicest blog I have ever had. Lovely stock photos, smooth text edit and easy design. After that, I started a few websites and along the way I learned more and more about wix.

Pros:

Wix gives everybody a chance. Whether you are planning to market your products or design a website, Wix make it quite easy and enjoyable.

Cons:

I really enjoy wix. It took me a few minutes to learn how creating a blog works on wix but after that it was all a smooth ride.

Wix is AMAZING for Small Businesses

Comments: Overall, I adore Wix because I have been able t create beautiful websites with the functionality I need for my Destination Wedding Brides. I use these as a hub for all their guests to go to get information and book their rooms. I also feel like the templates are AMAZING. However, the adjusting of certain sections and formatting can be a little less intuitive on the more developed templates.

Pros:

I love that Wix has the ability to copy entire sites, as well as entire pages that I can paste onto my other websites. I'm frequently creating similar sites so this has become extremely helpful in streamlining the process.

Cons:

I did not like that at one point for one of my premium sites, I had to update the credit card to even cancel the renewing. Also I feel like that premium site cancelling process is a little confusing.

Great for Beginners, But Lacks Long-Term Performance

Comments: My experience with Wix started off positive due to its ease of use, but over time, the lack of advanced features and declining site performance became a significant issue. This eventually led me to switch to Webflow for better functionality and speed.

Pros:

The drag-and-drop interface is super user-friendly, allowing me to customize my pages without needing to know any coding. I also appreciated the variety of ecommerce tools and scheduling, which helped me set up an online store quickly and efficiently.

Cons:

There was a lot of limitations in-terms of the customisation on the website, such as limited relational database connections and integration of 3rd party plugins like typeform, calendly

My experience with Wix

Comments: My overall experience with Wix has been quite positive. It’s very user-friendly with an intuitive drag-and-drop editor, making design easy even for beginners. The wide selection of templates keeps the site looking modern and professional, and there’s a good range of apps for added features. However, the limited export options and occasional loading delays are small drawbacks. Overall, it’s a strong choice for creating a polished site quickly and with minimal hassle.

Pros:

I love its drag-and-drop Visual Editor, which allows you to customize any element of the site. It's ideal for beginners. It has a wide variety of modern, fully customizable templates for every industry. They're very diverse, so your site will always look professional and appealing. Additionally, you can build a personalized website with AI based on what you request.

Cons:

What I don’t like about Wix is that it doesn’t allow exporting the full site content, which means starting from scratch if you want to migrate. Some apps require additional payments, which increases the total cost of the site. Sometimes, sites created on Wix can be a bit slow to load, especially if they have many visual elements, apps, etc.

The Best Option for Web Design I've ever found

Comments: Overall it has probably been the best web design experience for simple html, css type design elements for a website.

Pros:

Wix provides a platform that is almost overwhelming with the functionality that it has. It offers such a plethora of options geared toward maintaining a valid website as a small business. I absolutely love the web editing as well as the extensive reports it offers which is very useful.

Cons:

The only thing I find a tad frustrating is how to fully maximize my user experience on the platform because it has so many features and functionalities, sometimes its difficult to locate areas where you want to be because of how much there is.

Reliable, easy to use and intuitive

Comments: I use Wix for my site and my clients because a happy medium between functionality and simplicity to use. Plus the more recent update to Wix Studio is superb. Where ive used Wordpress for years I miss certain personalisation however, the security, reliability and ease of use outweigh that issue. Most of my websites are lead generators and glorified shop fronts opposed to heavy in ecommerce so cant comment on that side too much.

Pros:

Everything you need in one place. Simple and intuitive layout of both backend and editor. Quick to pick up the basics with intermediary skills a little play away. Im a big fan of how quickly i can check the responsiveness of mobile vs computer layouts. Security is also a major factor that Wix gives great peace of mind.

Cons:

Pricing of all the addons and a lack of additional functionality compared to WordPress. Adding a business email for example is about £56pa whereas we know its drastically less elsewhere so there is a feeling of now you're using us you have to accept the prices we charge.

Why i switch from Wix to shopify

Comments: is good when your store is not a ecommerce store. the esthentic look better too

quite easy to use, upload image and writting scripte is easy

The part when I create invoice but unable to follow up if item deliver like what shopify have,

Pros:

I loved the person who helped me in the customer support. I was assigned [sensitive content hidden] as my support person, and they were FABULOUS. I had a fairly complicated issue and they helped me trouble shoot it for over an hour. I was on the support line with Legal zoom (the cause of the original issue), and [sensitive content hidden] helped me find a work around because the legal zoom people were no help. I like Wix overall too, but my reasoning for leaving this review was solely because of the support I received from [sensitive content hidden], THANK YOU [sensitive content hidden]!!! The 8/10 for recommending to a colleague was solely bc there isn't a help number to be found.

Cons:

I hate that there is no support line to call directly, but a chat bot that I have to go to & be redirected thru chat forum not a live person on a phone call. It was insanely frustrating until I found the lovely [sensitive content hidden] to help me.

Love Wix website builder

Comments: Overall, I love this platform and all of the things that it has to offer if you choose to do it yourself and I love all of the information but there is a lot to know. I would not suggest it to anyone that does not like to put effort into building a website or that has never done it before because over the years it has grown very complex and luckily, I have tried to grow with it. I would recommend having a Wix professional do it for you.

Pros:

I like all the options that you have to build a website the information available, and the explanations are so very helpful. The fact that i can do it myself and put what's in my head in my website with absolutely not an ounce of prior experience. I like to learn and know how to do all aspects of my business and when I become wealthy enough to have someone else do it I can understand more. But I like it and think it is also fun for my creative side.

Cons:

There's so much to know. But its not the fault of Wix it's the facts of a growing industry and its complexity.

A Stress-Free, Flexible Website Builder with Endless Possibilities

Comments: My overall experience with Wix has been fantastic. It’s easy to use, with lots of flexibility to create a unique website without needing coding skills. The templates are beautiful, and adding features like an online store or blog is super straightforward. Whenever I had questions, the support resources were really helpful. Wix made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free!

Pros:

What I love most about Wix is how easy it makes everything. The drag-and-drop builder is super simple, even if you're not techy, and there are so many great templates to choose from! Cons:

Comments: My overall experience with WIX has been excellent. I've had a few issues over the years but the support has helped work things out. Once WIX figures out a way to have the support easier to reach, then I will give it a 10 out of 10 score.

Pros:

I have been using WIX Website Builder for years and I am very familiar with how it works. It's user friendly and there's plenty of search options to find what you are looking for or to get steps on how to do something. It has tons of options and stays current with the latest trends.

Cons:

The only issue I have found with Wix is the amount of time it takes to get to talk to a person. There's too many questions even though I understand they are trying to narrow down the problem so the customer can fix it themselves but at times, the customer may just need to talk to someone for help. This can increase stress and anxiety when there's already a problem that the customer is having and to keep pushing questions on them, Well, this will raise the frustrations.

Best option on the market

Comments: Overall, Wix is costly and customer service can be a challenge, but there is certainly no perfect option. As far as what I have experience with through some of the other major platforms, this is the best solution for small businesses. It can be easily used by someone with no experience and for professionals. You can build a website without putting any money towards it, and I would definitely recommend doing that if you're on the fence.

Pros:

Wix is a great platform that is both easy-to-use as a CRM tool and building platform. Whether you're experienced with web building or completely clueless, it offers options that work for any experience level. For small businesses, Wix offers enough tools and resources that you could run your entire business through one platform if you know what you're doing.

Cons:

Wix is on the pricier side. Customer service can be completely hit or miss depending on which service rep you get, and they seem to try to drive you towards the AI and website answers, even when your solution doesn't lie there.

Great for beginners

Comments: It was great for my particular use-case, which was designing a website from scratch quickly and highly customize what's on it.

Pros:

It's very easy to get started and design a simple website. It's perfect for beginners.

Cons:

A lot of advanced features (advanced animations, menus, navigation) is missing.

Quick Setup for Ecommerce

Comments: In general, very positive. I have used many different CMS platforms and though Wix wasn't my favorite, I'd recommend it to beginners who need to build a simple website quickly. If you need to sell products of simply connect donations for a nonprofit, Wix may be the easiest way for you to get started.

Pros:

I liked how easy it was to integrate the e-commerce aspect into my website build, even though I was just looking for donations. Connecting my bank account to my Wix account was easier than it had been with platforms in the past.

Cons:

Some of the different sizing metrics resulted in broken, unresponsive designs. I wish that these were more straightforward. It would have made it much easier for me to ensure that my website was showing up properly across all sizes of devices.

The last hosting site you'll need

Comments: I had another platform for my website but it was old and out of date. It was also really limited to updating pages and almost no other apps could integrate with it it.

Pros:

It's so easy to customize, especially if you don't have a big design background and get overwhelmed with techy stuff

Cons:

The only thing I don't like about wix is the lack of ability to display the checkout options. I've seen pages where the full checkout process is on the same screen as the product which isnt the case with wix. Other than that i love it

Comments: My overall experience with Wix hasn't been satisfactory and I have used other better platforms which give better services and solutions to their users. Though among many cons it is good for beginners who are just starting with website design, hosting, backlinks, and everything as it gives you everything in one place which makes it easier for people to start with their journey but being a professional I found it pretty average as there can be more complex and intriguing features to have vast users community and definitely make it little more pocket friendly so that it is accessible to all.

Pros:

One thing I like about Wix is the availability of templates and the ease of reformatting while making a site or landing page. It's a beginner-friendly platform as it gives you backlinks, SEO tools, and almost a designed website with a few clicks. Another feature I like is that it's user-friendly; you don't need proper website design knowledge for it.

Cons:

1. The site keeps on crashing and it lags a lot which makes it difficult to work on it making a website on Wix feels never-ending and even SEO features don't work very well you can do only a basic level of work on it. 2. Though it offers templates, they're very basic and don't offer complex designs, which makes your website look interactive and attractive. 3. Pricing is insanely high and they change their prices as they please which makes it less pocket-friendly their competitors have better plans with better features and services. 4. Customer -service is also not that great as they take a good amount of time to reply to you back and resolve your issue.

Comments: The customer service is good and the contact numbers can easily be found. I hate it when I need to contact customer service and businesses either don't have an option to talk to a human or they make it extremely difficult to find the phone number.

Pros:

I like the new Wix studio interface that is a mix between a standard website builder and Wix's customizable features. The new interface is simplified and easier to use than the past editor. I also like that it is an all in one system that accepts payments, has an online store, email marketing and even a digital course feature. I also love that Wix Studio is set up for your website business to be successful with the option to sell templates, create a client click, or get revenue from your clients wix packages.

Cons:

I don't like how visitors need to create an account before purchasing your online course. I think it's one extra step that might be the reason someone wouldn't want to buy your course. The editor can be slow and glitchy if you don't have fast internet. You might need to hop on and off the editor a couple of times to edit your website.

Could not recommend this product more!

Pros:

As someone who was new to the world of webpage development and overwhelmed by all the options, Wix was the perfect place to begin. Its user-friendly interface was time saving, sanity saving, and allowed me to better direct my energy towards the creativity aspect of the process. I was able to build a strong online presence without the hassle and stress. Plus, I love that it gives you templates based off of your needs/business to help offer the insight of what will work/look best from a user standpoint.

Cons:

Honestly, there is not one negative thing I can say about Wix. My entire experience was just about perfect.
