One of its most useful features is the ability to export profiles in bulk to an Excel file. When several recruiters were sourcing for the same position, we could divide the exported profiles among the team and avoid repeatedly reviewing or contacting the same candidates. The interface is intuitive and easy to learn. Its AI-assisted search can also be helpful for junior recruiters, beginners, or people conducting less complex searches. > > **Cons**: SeekOut was expensive, and the cost was prohibitive for a smaller company such as the one I worked at. They eventually stopped using and the cost was the deciding factor. I also did not find the AI search particularly useful for my own work. I prefer to build searches manually because it gives me more control over the criteria and results. However, this is more a matter of working style than a major problem with the platform. > > I used SeekOut for approximately two years, primarily for candidate sourcing rather than outreach. My overall experience was very positive. The platform was easy to learn, offered reliable and detailed filters, and supported complex searches without making the process unnecessarily difficult. The bulk export functionality was particularly valuable when multiple recruiters worked on the same role, as it allowed us to divide profiles clearly and prevent duplicated sourcing work. Although I preferred manual searches over its AI functionality, I could see the AI search being useful for less experienced recruiters or simpler assignments. I had no major usability complaints.
