An Perfect software for E-mail marketing
Comments: This software is a gem if you do email marketing, computer input or web development. It's yours
Contact Constant is an excellent software for small businesses. It manages practically all the parameters that a business online has (mailing, marketing, automation, analyses, reports, management, assistance...) very pragmatically. Additionally, the prices are affordable and data exchange is very fast.
The design is not very pretty, and it gives me no desire to work (laugh).Apart from that, I do not find any negative points.
Constant Contact Review by Jen
Comments: After 2020 we were forced to focus on merchandise sales and rely heavily upon their success. Constant Contact made a positive impact and helped keep us afloat.
Constant Contact is a prominent brand in the email marketing business. A multitude of integrations are possible (Google, Microsoft, and Zoho products, Shopify, WordPress, Purplepass Ticketing, ETC.) The power to launch a large campaign and see results quickly has to be the best feature of CC for us.
Constant Contact sways towards the mid to high end of the price spectrum. The premium plan (which you must purchase to remove the CC logo) is absolutely on the high end. Ease of use isn't perfect yet.
Cheap but not the best feature suite on the market
I appreciated how cheap it is to use Constant Contact. That was the main draw in moving to Constant Contact, away from HubSpot, for email marketing. Unfortunately, their email templates simply aren't as strong, sharp, or easy to customize. We ended up returning to HubSpot after a short period of time. This is probably a great platform for a company that is just starting out though!
Their email templates are a bit dated, they are not as easy to customize or re-format.
An Extremely User-Friendly Email Marketing Platform: Constant Contact
Comments: Overall, I found Constant Contact to be a great platform for sending out emails. It was easy to use, with plenty of helpful features such as analytics and segmentation. The only downside was that the templates could look a bit dated.
Constant Contact is an incredibly user-friendly email marketing platform that helps you create and send professional-looking emails quickly and easily. The platform also features comprehensive analytics, tracking, and segmentation capabilities, so you can effectively measure and monitor the success of your campaigns.
While Constant Contact is a great platform, there are some limitations. For example, it doesn't have the same level of customization options as some other platforms, and its templates can look a bit dated.
Great email campaigns!
Comments: I used Constant Contact as my major campaigning tool leading up to a national conference that I hosted. It helped me create community. I got tons of feedback from the listserv that the emails looked amazing. It boosted my registrations and helped everyone stay up-to-date on what we were planning.
The emails looked great! Plus, it was so easy to drag and drop items to build a newsletter/email that I really wanted. It was like canva with it's drag and drop functionality, which made it really easy!
I wish there were more stock pictures to use. More ability to edit pictures within the software.
Comments: My overall experience with the software has been cool it has loads of potentials.
The software is a very amazing when I t comes to web development , leads generation. Easy to set up , I have used the software in catching up with most of my leads through automation and the it's very functional and easy to understand.
I've not seen a real problem apart from the it's prices are not favourable for marketers working on a tight budget and the software should work on their customer support.
Comments: The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to create and send out emails. Their templates are also very helpful and allow me to quickly create professional-looking emails. The reporting tools are also very helpful in measuring my campaigns' success and making future changes. The customer service is also great and always very helpful in answering any questions I have.
Using Constant Contact has proven to be a great way to increase our marketing reach and stay in touch with our long-term clients. We had attempted to use MailChimp in the past but found it too complicated, and it didn't provide good results. We have received positive feedback from our customers about Constant Contact, and it has been a successful outreach tool for us.
The cost of the product can be prohibitive for small businesses with limited financing. There can be challenges when using the email editor, which restricts some customization and may be exasperating to use. Additionally, third-party tools and services often come with a price tag.
Well Established Email Marketing Tool
Comments: Overall, experience is good and the app serves my main purposes.
Using the Constant Contact templates is incredibly effortless. Furthermore, the design function includes a good colors scheme to match our corporate identity. The tools for managing our contact list allow us to keep our contacts active and segment them by demographics for more a effective campaign. Another excellent feature is the URL hyperlink for email sending, which is extremely beneficial to include in individual client emails.
The campaign displays often vary significantly between mobile devices and desktops. Rather than scaling down images or graphics displayed side by side or within text boxes, they are instead repositioned to fit the width of the page and stacked on top of other images or text. Furthermore, the auto-resend feature lacks the ability to test A/B subject lines and make corrections to emails. Although sent campaigns can be sorted into a folder, they remain visible in the full campaign list.
Constant Contact review
I find Constant Contact to be the most beneficial for creating successful email campaigns due to its vast array of tools. Its user friendly email builder allows me to incorporate images, videos, and other content to customize my campaigns. The drag-and-drop editor makes it easy to craft professional-looking emails that are sure to capture attention and get opened. Furthermore, the analytics provided gives me insight on how well my campaigns are doing and which areas need improvement. Its user-friendly interface and powerful features make Constant Contact an invaluable resource.
I don't enjoy the complexity of constructing a landing page right now. Every now and then, glitches arise that need to be rectified so that when I try out the other features of the website, it is uncomplicated rather than disheartening.
Marketing at hand and well crafted
Comments: Along with my marketing team, we use Constant Contact to provide an easy way to deliver our mails to our clients and potential clients, it does exactly what it promises and that means a lot for me.
Like with any other software or platform, the ease of use and the flexibility it's key, Constant Contact has provide us this and more
Maybe the implementation could be more non-technical friendly, even though we had it up and running faster than we thought
Poor Service - We Quit and Switched
Comments: Easy software, but many features gave us problems, and the customer service response was terrible. We switched providers as a result.
In the early days of using this type of mailing software for subscription based newsletter campaigns, CC was at the top of its game and most popular. We chose it for that reason, and did it automate and streamline the process of sending email campaigns, however, the problems with CC falsely penalizing for spam caused us to switch providers.
We imported a significant subscription list which we gathered over several years. When sending a campaign upwards of 5K to 6K, there are going to bad addresses or people which decide they no longer want the content. Fair enough, however, we had a double-opt-in platform in place, and send a campaign 1x monthly. There are always going to be individuals who hit "spam" on email platforms, such as Gmail, because it's a fast way to unsubscribe and delete. This happened enough times, with just 2-3 people (out of thousands) using the Gmail spam report, that CC began to throttle and limit our service. We sent, time and time again, evidence of the double-opt-in from a particular group of spam reporters, to show we don't send unsolicited email -- ever. CC would remove the throttle, but it happened enough times that we grew irritated. If CC made it easier to unsubscribe, and Gmail made it not easier to hit a "spam" button instead of an "unsubscribe" button from CC, we wouldn't have had the issue. We felt the customer service was poor and unfair given the extremely low percentage of those who clicked "spam" (2-3 individuals) out of 5-6K recipients on a given campaign. We closed our CC account, switched, and never had the same problem with the follow-on provider, who took better care of us, and, our readers.
Review for Constant Contact
Comments: Constant Contact has been a wonderful marketing tool and I have seen results. I love the ability to see who has opened my emails in real time, as I can immediately reach out to them while the contact is "hot".
Very user friendly, but the most important feature is their customer service. I always get a real person right away when I have a question or need support. Helpful templates were there when I first got started, and they continue to be available. Their email functionality allows me to tract my emails and see who opens it (all in real time).
I have been using this software for years, and I have no complaints. I am a one person business, with about 15,000 customers, so my database is not as robust as larger companies might need for marketing. I do not use Constant Contact for videos, slides, etc.
Fashionable and Functional. Your correspondence will
Comments: I do independent contracting for a nonprofit and have been using Constant Contact for about 4 years now for the electronic newsletters to our supporters and network. I love that the software and the many different template options to use for mailings. I also like that I am able to change fonts, color, backgrounds and layout with ease. It is VERY user friendly and if I need to stop in the middle of my work it, will be saved where I left off. This is actually an update because in the past if you didn't save the work manually you could lose it, but they have updated that and it now autosaves (which I am very grateful for). Also, I love that I can schedule mailings and campaigns in advance for when I want them to go out (I currently have 5 pending to go out on designated days within the next 5 weeks). This save me a lot of time and not having to wait til the day of to log on and send them out. What I REALLY like is that we can track analytics. we know what emails (and topics) people are more interested in versus ones they barely open. This helps us in choosing more engaging content. I know what percent of our contacts have opened the emails. I can create different groups to send certain thing to (like Board members, parents, LSC), I am even able to see the time and date (and by whom) an email was opened and if the donate button was clicked or not (which is good for best practices and implementing measures of accountability within the org).

I don't like that the only videos that I can embed into the mailings have to be a Youtube link. But other than that, there isn't much that I do not like about using this software.
Comments: In general, Constant Contact feels like a software built decades ago that's bolted on features over time instead of a well-designed, intentionally integrated solution. Templates are old fashioned. Automations are limited. (For example, a welcome email cannot be a series.) Old sign-up forms are maintained, but weren't migrated to the new functionality, so we'd have to rebuild each one to modernize them. Custom contact fields are limited to text or date. Missing details like this add up to each project taking more time than it should. I suspect Constant Contact was a front-runner in the early days, but there are better email marketing solutions now at a similar or lower price point that offer a coherent, simple-to-use, and modern product. This was one of the first SaaS products I replaced with another service when I took over my job.
Drag-and-drop email builder is straightforward, and I appreciate the polling and RSVP functionalities. It's easy to collaborate with team members on the same projects (but not on a variety of projects -- see below). Overall the naming and location of items is intuitive, which makes it easy to find your way around if you've used other email marketing software. I like the ability to get a url to past email campaigns.
The templates and functionality are outdated, and it takes time to build out customized elements that fit with a modern aesthetic. Support is so-so; other service providers (such as MailerLite) have raised the bar with quick response times that Constant Contact just doesn't offer. This product works best for a single user or two. The list, segments, and tagging attributes offer flexibility, but they get out of hand quickly when used for multiple goals or by different teams. This email marketing service has been the hardest for us to keep clean. Additionally, there is a single unsubscribe form, which doesn't make sense when different teams use the same service. The search function for past campaigns doesn't work well, so it takes time to riffle through the list to what we need. This is how many of the features work: they're probably there, but it takes time to get what you need.
Constant Contact Review 2022.
Comments: As a small business owner, I wear a lot of hats. I'm responsible for everything from customer service to product development, and that can make it hard to find time for marketing. That's where Constant Contact comes in. Their platform makes it easy to create beautiful emails and track their performance. I can see who's opening my emails and clicking on my links, and that helps me to adjust my strategy on the fly. Plus, their live chat support is always there to help me when I need it. Thanks to Constant Contact, I'm able to connect with my customers and grow my business - without spending all of my time on marketing.
Constant Contact is one of the most popular email marketing platforms. It offers a wide range of features and is very user-friendly. I have been using Constant Contact for a few months now and I am very happy with it. Here are some of the pros: 1) It is very easy to use; even someone with no technical skills can easily create beautiful emails. 2) It offers a lot of templates and stock images, so you can create professional-looking emails without having to hire a designer. 3) It allows you to easily segment your list, so you can send targeted emails to different groups of people. 4) It includes powerful tools for tracking email opens, clicks, and bounces, so you can see how your campaigns are performing. 5) It integrates with many third-party services, such as Salesforce and Google Analytics. Overall, I am very pleased with Constant Contact and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an email marketing platform.
Overall, I was pleased with Constant Contact. The software is easy to use and navigate, and the email templates are attractive and customizable. I also appreciated the ability to track opens and clicks, as well as to segment my contacts into different groups. However, there are a few areas where Constant Contact could improve. First, I would like the ability to schedule emails in advance. This would be helpful for times when I know I won't be able to check my email for a few days. Second, I would like more options for automation. For example, it would be useful to be able to automatically send a follow-up email to people who didn't open my first email. Overall, Constant Contact is a good option for small businesses or individuals who want to send attractive emails with minimal hassle. However, there are a few areas where the software could be improved.
Increased customer base
We love to reward returning customers, we know there are a lot of choices in clothing and jewelry. We used constant contact to make sure all of our customers know about our rewards and have the opportunity to use them in store and online.
As a boutique it's important that we have items our customers are looking for but may not be able find in a mainstream store. We use the surveys to find out what styles our customers are most interested in, which also makes the customer feel valued and included. We discovered that out customers were looking for different styles than what we had originally anticipated.
The pricing makes all of this a bit irrelevant since I can purchase the same services for much less from another software company.
The amount of new customers we brought in was awesome, we kept in touch with past or current customers, meaning they're more likely to become repeat customers. Email tracking and email automation, surveys (or polls), high deliverability rate, click tracking, insights, and ease of use are all pros. Customer service is very responsive.
Constant contact costs more and provides less for the price than most of the other email marketing software I've used. I'm absolutely fine with paying more to get more but it doesn't make sense to pay more to get less. Business 101... Depending on who the recipient has their email address with, more or less of the emails from constant contact may to wind up in the promotions label vs primary.
Good platform for email campaigns
What I like most about this platform is the fact that I can classify the list of subscribers according to my needs. When sending email campaigns, I can select which group to target instead of sending it to all of my leads. Their analytics is very clear and easy to understand. They provide tips to improve campaigns and stats to measure your effectiveness on each campaign.
I wish this platform would have more innovative features to make more powerful campaigns. For example, adding videos or gifs. I usually design my campaigns on Canva and then add it in Constant Contact as an image because their designing tool is very limited. It will also be very useful if they would add a link for calls as they do to direct people to websites and emails.
Easy to use, great for contact management, but terrible customer service
Comments: The email analytics and reports are great.
I use CC to to manage our large contact database and to send out email updates. It is great for segmenting our list -- from general interest to communications to fundraising. The automated features are great, especially that it will not allow the same email to appear in the same inbox twice. It also merges duplicate contacts. We use it across the entire organization. Constant contact is great for merging duplicate contacts, updating your address book, giving a reliable open rate and thorough reports, and allowing you to segment large email lists.
When uploading additional contacts, CC wants to see how they actively subscribed. This can be problematic when uploading an older email list (i.e. you may just have a spreadsheet of The List and they want to see more evidence). Additionally, it is a little pricey compared to competitors such as MailChimp. It would be great to be able to export email campaigns as HTML.Be extremely careful when importing contacts. Constant Contact wants to see how they actively subscribed. Sometimes it is hard to prove this when you have entered information for people you have an established relationship with, or if they verbally requested to be added. Constant Contact wants to actually see the (paper) sign-up sheet. This is unachievable for businesses/groups that have been around long enough to have established an email list based on personal relationships or when importing business cards. As for the design, sizing images can be difficult when you are using a self-designed template. As for the contact management services, representatives have very little technical knowledge and don't seem to understand marketing techniques used within certain industries.
Comments: Overall, it's very good. It's pretty easy to use and the emails are really nice looking. They provide lots of templates to choose from or you can design your own. You can create many contact lists so you can target your emails to the group you're trying to reach.
Constant Contact is easy to use. You don't have to have extensive training in order to figure it out. They have lots of templates to choose from. You can talk or chat to a real person when you need help. They also offer a non-profit discount, which is very nice. The emails are very nice and professional looking. Once you have a template you like, you can copy it each time and change the colors to make it look fresh.
The events site is set up a little different than the regular emails. So adding things to the landing page isn't quite as easy as the drag and drop method that's available for the email marketing portion. Also, the event feature is good for taking basic registrations and payments (like selling items) but not great for a full blown event. We used it for several years for our fundraising event but it was a bit cumbersome. There was no easy way to do things like offer sponsor levels with X number of guest tickets included. Eventually we moved our fundraiser to an event-specific software.
The analytics provided by Constant Contact provide the most satisfying feeling possible
Comments: It is important to note that we perform continuous analysis of customer requests through social networks, external platforms and social media. This is something you should be aware of. Constant Contact's Platform can generate the best possible reports for connection and robust constitution of the required elements. Through Constant Contact, we have engaged several different public content targets, and the results have been as expected. We expanded advertising options and became more effective content strategists as a result.
Constant Contact makes me happy, as I have improved the quality of all analytical procedures used in specialized marketing and ensured that they are always further developed. Everything is first class and of the highest quality, and I can complete a group marketing project with the help of their various tools. The service is quite good, and, with their use, I could integrate and customize the software without any problems. I evaluate data from social media accounts to corporate clients and various analytics management systems. There is no doubt that Constant Contact is an excellent opportunity for high-level advertising.
Constant Contact is an excellent product that has significantly impacted the creation of seamless marketing and numerous management systems.
Great For Emails, But Other Features Are Getting Worse
Comments: I have used this for 5+ years and have always been happy with the email marketing side of it, but the product has gotten worse over the past five years. I feel they are more focused on selling "templates" than supporting the product we pay for. The survey function is basically unusable at this point, and I now have to use Survey Monkey for surveys when I used to only use CC.
Emails through constant contact look great, it's easy to use and customize and building email lists is very simple.
The survey feature was huge for us for the past few years, but they recently re-did this into "survey pages" which is terrible, very limited, and the exported data is always wonky. Support has been no help. This will cause me to look at other email platforms upon my renewal to look for a better "one-size-fits-all" solution.
Easy to Use and Feature-Rich: Constant Contact
Comments: Constant Contact is a great email marketing platform for businesses of all sizes. It offers a wide range of features that make creating and managing campaigns easy. While the pricing can be a bit expensive, it is worth it if you need access to all the features. Compared to its alternatives, Constant Contact is a great choice for those looking for an easy to use and feature-rich email marketing platform.
Constant Contact is an incredibly useful and feature-rich email marketing platform. It's incredibly easy to use, with a user-friendly interface and intuitive tools. It has a wide range of features that make creating and managing email campaigns a breeze. It also offers analytics and reporting, so you can track the performance of your campaigns.
The pricing of Constant Contact can be a bit expensive for small businesses. The free plan is basic and limited, so if you want to take advantage of all the features, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan. Additionally, the customer support can be slow to respond.
Great tool for outreach, easy to learn
Comments: Its easy to use once you get the hang of it, its user friendly, its cost effective, and their customer service is excellent.
It's effective in it's data measuring, I like how I can view data in multiple ways to help me make the right decisions for my organizations marketing initiatives. I also like that I can make my own templates and embed them in. The mobile and desktop version formats are both also excellent.
Its not as smooth sailing from the get-go as other softwares like mailchimp. There's a bit of a learning curve with the pre-available templates and the space to work isn't too big.
Email marketing with Constant Contact
Constant Contact is definitely on the top-tier software for managing and distributing email marketing and they are very good in it. The template design is very interactive and easy to edit it to fit with the email objective. We had a good response and email open rate with this software.
The price plan is quite expensive after you reach the limit for the contact list and how much email can be sent for a month worth. The user interface for the dashboard can be improve to the modern design, as for now, the looks of the dashboard is quite outdated.
very good tool to boost marketing
Constant Contact is the easiest to understand system out there for organizations to drive their campaigns with a much better chance of success. The ability to retry messages on the fly and have the option to send them to explicit records is amazing. We can see which messages have been opened and that the tool usually directs them to a digest so they don't receive an email once again. Constant Contact has various layouts with really cool constructions that empower the creation of promoting efforts, so we can without much of a stretch select a template and alter it.
We have not had any serious problems, perhaps I would like to see a little less expense.
