Pros:

It is super straight forward process when adding your expenses from any work trip and once you hit submit getting your money refunded is typically smooth.

Cons:

We were told that our cards would sync up, but they didn't and the customer service was bad. We really didn't even get to use the software as we never got through the whole onboarding phase.

Efficient Expense and Travel Management

Comments: SAP Concur simplifies expense reporting with its robust reporting tools. I do feel however that the user interface needs a real uplift - comparing it to other products i have used it really is not as intuative.

Pros:

When onboarding new customers SAP Concur has a seamless integration of expense and travel management. The platform is convenient and accessible and has a wide range of features.

Cons:

The user interface is somewhat complex to use. The desktop version is not as intutative as similar products. Concur risks falling behind its competitors.

SAP Concur wastes your time

Comments: Confusing, waste of precious time, responses from support people look like they are AI generated.

Pros:

I don't like anything about Concur. The program requires the user to put in all sorts of nit-picky data.

Cons:

1. For one simple trip, it literally takes 3+ hours to input your receipts, input all of the nitpicky data and deal with admin complaints such as, "Please explain why you are taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel". 2. I have a grant and should not be doing support staff work like this -- having faculty deal with the clunky system and people who refuse to help us ultimately does not generate $ for my University. 3. My University and the bureaucracy of SAP Concur acts like my time is free, when ultimately they are stealing from themselves and not using my time efficiently.

SAP Concur, the king of the expense claim processing!

Comments: Excellent experience. People across the business have reported that it is an excellent software, easy to manipulate. The fact that there is an app makes it much easier to not loose receipts/tax invoices. Very positive across the whole business.

Pros:

The ease of use, the fact that people can use it on the mobile phone, the fact that there is an app on Appstore and Android store for it!

Cons:

The cost is maybe high but I guess you pay for good quality software!

Streamlines and Stress-Free Expenses

Comments: The app is amazing, it lets me just take a picture of my receipt and upload it on the go (so I don't have to save receipts and pieces of paper in my wallet!). It integrates with my credit cards, travel rewards, and loyalty accounts too.

Pros:

Concur has totally streamlined the way we handle expenses at our company! The platform is super efficient, intuitive, and designed to be really user-friendly. Submitting expenses isn't this terrible, time consuming process with Concur....it's pretty simple and clear.

Cons:

No real concerns!! And if there ever is a problem, the customer support team is really responsive and supportive.

Comments: Great communication platform with teams, clients, customers and more in one place by chat, email or phone. Best solution.

Pros:

Every payments transactions is captured in expenses reports automatically making it easy to manage expenses, vendors and invoices. Also, approval can be done with a single click with a clear view of all expenses submitted for reimbursement.

Cons:

In the event when errors occurs, it is very difficult to correct them without involving the administrator. This is the biggest challenge I have experienced.

Good solid expense and travel application

Comments: Moving from an excel based, far more manual process this has been a welcomed change.

Pros:

The integration with corporate traveller, allowing users to claim expenses and book accommodation / travel in one application, reports / analytics are therefore available on spend across all these areas. Support is readily available, always responsive and prompt in resolving any issues. It is quite straightforward to use as an end user, most team members pick it up quite quickly.

Cons:

I would prefer the option, of being logged into SAP for the day and not having to re-log in throughout the day when I need to re-access. Search facility as an admin only allows to search on first name or surname, not both names. The inability as an admin to easily move a 'group' of users to a new approver

More detailed expense management

Comments: There is more constant communication with the company and employee on each trip when reporting each expense, it makes the employee report each daily expense so that the company keeps track of their expenses and avoid unnecessary extra expenses

Pros:

It is perfect for reporting each expense made on each trip without having complications of forgetting something to report, everything is done in real time and it greatly facilitates the process of validating each expense and thus having a clear and organized report, it allows for a more detailed development of each user's trips There is clarity about each expense by having the expenses at the end of each trip very specific and thus better understanding what is spent more and what is spent less on

Cons:

Sometimes the scanning of invoices can be a little slow and it does not allow the image to load correctly

Comments: Overall I have had a great experience with SAP Concur, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an expense tracking system.

Pros:

I like how easy SAP Concur integrates into my everyday life. I do not have to think about it for expenses. Take a picture of the receipt, create the expense and submit at the end of the month. No more piles of receipts.

Cons:

Since I work primarily from my mobile devise some of the little thumb nails of the receipt images are a bit small and can be hard to see.

Pros:

It is very user-friendly platform that one can use. You can easily submit requests for travels, expense reports, book flights and hotels with just a few clicks. It also has a mobile app support where you can easily upload receipts and submit expenses.

Cons:

The customer support is not the best. If one is calling the phone line sometimes it can wait up to 20 minutes for an agent.

Automate Your Expense and Travel Management Program with Ease!

Pros:

SAP's fully-built integrations with Frequent Flyer programs, Lyft, travel agencies, and Google make my travel planning experience enjoyable and automated. I no longer have to worry about adding flyer status, marking calendars, upload receipts, etc. Everything is done for me by Concur, saving time and money in the process.

Cons:

The UI/UX can be a little clunky and slow at times. It definitely takes some time to get used to how things are laid out and how the workflows operate. But, once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing ahead.

Very strong expense management / invoice / requisition tool

Comments: We use for our invoice capture/processing process, expense management and purchase requisition process. This has expanded over time due to the usability of the tool and high level of adoption from end users.

Pros:

The tool is multi-faceted meaning that once you have end users using, expanding it's reach/impact is very easy. We started with invoice, then added expense and than adopted purchase requisition most recently. The mobile app is very helpful in managing the process for invoice approvals and receipt capture particularly, as can be done on the go.

Cons:

Some of the quirks hard baked into the system route from it's beginnings as Global Expense, and therefore can be forgiven. I do see some of these ironed out over time. The SAP purchase (a number of years back now) has seen account management strengthened, however if you are not an enterprise wide SAP ERP customer - you are likely to struggle to receive a high level of account management.
