> **Pros**: Citizenserve was reliable. When we had an internet connection, it was there with the data we needed. Search results came back quickly. Documents stored securely in the cloud. It processed our permits and inspections adequately.
> 
> **Cons**: It does not have great features for selected items relevant to the day. It was difficult to distinguish between older permits and newer ones for the same property. Without an accurate and up-to-date set of parcel layers, it is difficult to keep separate records separate.
> 
> Citizenserve is a basic database management platform that can handle permits and inspections. It has one way that it works, and if staff doesn't follow that workflow, records can get hopelessly confused. It does offer many high level functions, but for the price, it does a basic job well enough.
