> **Pros**: The software is somewhat full featured and allows full service catering companies run the majority of their systems with a single interface.

> **Cons**: Because CXP tries to cover every base at all times they have spread themselves way too thin. There are many technical holes in their software and bugs/glitches that they are not able to explain. When our company in particular has reported issues they have gone to lengths to hide the issues by going into our database and making changes in a way that conceals the overall problem and then come back to say that it was not replicatable and thus will not happen again. Caterxpert has been very opaque when releasing patches and updates, often excluding some or all changes made to certain modules or sections of the database. Their user manuals are very outdated and do not represent the newest form of the software. Many times when we have requested updates or fixes to various parts of the software they do not have any explanation or reason as to why they arent feasable, it's just a no. Caterxpert does not integrate with other Catering or Party Planning softwares we use such as our CRM, nowsta, socialtables and other various programs we use when planning events while those programs do work with the other big name catering softwares.

They're unsupportive when there are glitches within their system, they have very unethical and intransparent business practices on the tech side when errors are reported - to the extent that they will hide the root issue by saying they can't replicate the problem (because they have access to your database and will just hide the issue\!)

Dont work with them, they're slimy and being quickly surpassed by their competitors. TRY CATERESE\!
