Trello Reviews for Indian Users
Intuitive & effective tool to stay on track with all your projects
Comments: Have used Trello for years in different jobs as well as for personal projects. It's a lovely tool and it really helps me stay focused and get things done.
Pros:
I love how intuitive it is and how well it integrates with all the other tools we are using.
Cons:
Having to add images as attachments before being able to add them in a comment seems a bit repetitive. But it's a small thing, all in all it's a great product.
Alternatives Considered:
I would give it ten stars if I could!
Comments: I love using Trello to organise ideas, and this is so easy to do. You can have a different board for each project or topic, then different lists within a board, then different cards within a list. You can colour-code the cards, and have either a title on them, then open them to add/view content, or you can create "smart cards" by adding a link, which will then show a preview of that link's target. You can add checklists to cards, and you can use a calendar system to schedule tasks or events. Honestly? It's the best free tool I've come across for organisation. I would give it ten stars if I could.
Pros:
Such a generous amount you can do with it on the free plan. I love the whole experience - the boards, the cards, how easy it is to move things around, plus the calendar function takes it to a whole new level. No matter what you need to organise, Trello is your new secret weapon!
Cons:
Honestly? Can't think of anything I don't like about it. I've been using it for years and it's just fantastic.
Good for simple work flows
Comments: In my experience, Trello is a quick and simple way to manage tasks and projects for a remote team. I've used it mostly for managing content creation and approval as well as small SEO tasks and found it effective.
Pros:
I do appreciate Trello's simplicity: it's easy to onboard new users and teach them the basics so you can hit the ground running. I've found it most helpful for managing the content creation and approval process.
Cons:
The customer service is slow—at one stage we waited a week for a ticket to be addressed and the response wasn't helpful.
Alternatives Considered:
It's simple, easy to use and 'good enough' for most things
Comments: Great for project management for small teams
Pros:
The basic kanban-style board fits most projects and situations. The card-layout makes it very well-organized and all of my team-members quickly got the hang of it.
Cons:
To acces the most useful functions (power-ups) you need to upgrade. You don't have a lot of options for team-member roles or permissions. They can basically do everything within your board and that makes it messy sometimes. The design is a bit dated and not very aesthetic, it doesn't have that professional look some other task management software does have.
Alternatives Considered:
Trello can organize every aspect of your life!
Comments: I've used it for my social media posting management, short story and essay writing, daily tasks, blog management, Home remodeling scheduling, and more.
Pros:
The flexibility of Trello allows me to be as creative as I am in my business. The templates availble have helped me exliminate startup time for my projects. I've found many templates that perfectly fit what I want to do. Also, the way the app starts up and operates, I'm immediately into my working environment.
Cons:
The calendaring functions need some work. I'd like to be able to sync with my Apple Reminders and other built in iOS apps.
