There's a reason it's considered an industry standard for 2D animation. > > **Cons**: I'm not crazy about Harmony 21 so far. While there have been some additions to the program, there are also a lot of features that I preferred from Harmony 17. For example, scene markers can now be moved by the end of scene marker, and the focus on mouse cursor feature does not work as well in 21. These may seem like minor gripes, but when working professionally, those small issues can build up to a lot of lost time. > > I worked with harmony a bit in college, and have been working with it professionally since 2019. While there are many animation programs that I have not used, Harmony is by far the most versatile program that I have used.I work mainly in 2D Cut-Out animation, but have dabbled in Tradigital animation, FX animation, rigging, and minor compositing as well. All of these and more are possible within the program, which is great for the animation pipeline.
