### "Little intuitive reconciliation tool" — 3.0/5

> **Pros**: PROACTIVE is a tool that allow you with a simple screenshot have all the information related to a  trade in which you find or don't find discrepancies when comparing your company account information versus the services provider information. It shows not only the internal IDS, but also Markit Wire IDs for instance so you can create reports easily with not too much hand job.

It only shows you the open trades that have not been reconciled, and it reconciliates all the existing trades that are linked so it reduces the hand job reconciliation to the minimum.

> **Cons**: When there is some mistake into the files which are the input for the PROACTIVE reconciliation tool, it is quite difficult and it takes some time to be fixed and in the meantime you loos the control and the safety that your information and the providers information match.

It isn't neither easy to deploy for users. They would need some extra formation to learn using it properly, it is not very intuitive.

> The overall experience using PROACTIVE like a reconciliation tool is neutral/ positive. It fill the principal purpose allowing the user automatize the reconciliation of trades (internal vs. external, internal vs internal info) that are already linked into the system creating logic rules  and you save so much time in the reconciliation process. It also allows to use a standard output from the reconciliation process from different users, so it is easier to interpret the resultant information. But it is also difficult to fix mistaken information that has been inputted in the past and it could generate problems in the future reconciliations because of this.
