- If a game supports direct IP connections, Hamachi feels unnecessary you can use simple VPN for that.
- Occasional connection issues with certain firewalls (I'm looking at you Windows Firewall).

> Overall, it’s been a blast. Hamachi delivered exactly what I needed: a way to relive those old-school multiplayer sessions without the hassle. Sure, some of those games tested my friendships more than my skills (and I’d still say it was worth it), but Hamachi? It held up its end. I’d happily rage-quit with friends again

> At first I needed it for a small network, for which it was the most suitable product. Then the number of users started to increase, after which we switched to the paid version. If you have a stable internet connection, Hamachi will not be a problem for you

> **Cons**: One of the things that sometimes bugged me is that there is a color indication of whether someone is available. Oftentimes I could not connect to someone through Hamachi and there was no useful information why that happens, or how to fix the issue.
