> **Pros**: The best part of CortexPM is the fact that all of the tools and functions I need to run a project is included - all in one place and naturally integrated. It's powerful and user friendly at the same time.

> **Cons**: There is a lot to learn, if you have never used software in your building company before you may have a big adjustment.

> Our overall experience with CortexPM is overwhelmingly positive. We were an early user and the team was very responsive to improvement feedback and feature requests. They are builders too so they get what we need.

> **Pros**: It’s purpose-built for construction, so it actually fits the way I run a project rather than making me adapt a generic project management system. The cost tracking and visibility are particularly useful on my cost-plus projects, and the Xero integration saves a lot of double handling.

> **Cons**: It’s still developing, so there are a few features I’d like to see added or expanded. The upside is that the developer is very responsive to feedback and is constantly improving it.

> Really positive. It gives me much better visibility over the financial position of my project and keeps the important project information in one place. It’s easy to use, construction-specific, and doesn’t feel like software designed for some completely different industry that happens to have a construction template bolted onto it.

The support has also been excellent. For a builder looking for better control over their projects, particularly cost-plus work, I’d definitely recommend it.
