We had been using a different system previously and the difference has been significant. What stood out immediately was how much clearer and more manageable everything became, from provider onboarding and listing checks through to eligibility checking and DfE reporting. The whole process is incredibly simple and the time saved on admin across the whole programme has been considerable, freeing our small team up to focus on the programme itself rather than the paperwork behind it. The collection of listings that parents see and the individual provider listings each come with their own links and QR codes, which has streamlined how we promote the programme. Parents land somewhere that looks professional, attractive and engaging. The platform handles both funded HAF places and separate paid and specialist listings with their own booking rules, which gives our providers real flexibility. For a local authority managing a complex programme across sports clubs, holiday camps, STEM clubs, forest schools and community providers, that versatility matters. Knowing that over 70 local authorities are already using Eequ gave us confidence we were making the right call, and the support throughout onboarding backed that up. We switched from Coordinate Sport, where reporting was mostly manual, and the difference has been significant: automatic eligibility checking and excellent data collection has made such an impact. For eligibility specifically, our old process relied on schools issuing unique codes to children they thought were probably eligible; these codes were often passed between children or friends. EEQU took over what used to be a lengthy, manual process, and even entering our existing backlog of bookings onto the platform was a simple process. Since introducing EEQU, we've seen a large increase in bookings, and we put that down to families now seeing attractive, clearly laid out listings with photos of our lodges. Parents can see exactly what they're booking, presented professionally, which gives them the confidence to go ahead. Parents have also responded really well to being able to book independently, choosing their own dates, paying online, and receiving confirmations and messages automatically, rather than needing to go through us for every step. The huge decrease in administrative work has saved us so much time\! We now direct our interested families to EEQU to encourage them to book for themselves, while knowing there will always be some occasions where we need to support someone through the process directly. Having the flexibility to do both has worked well for us.
