MY CANDID EXPERIENCE USING MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT
Comments: It's been effective so far. Although, the time we encountered an issue, the customer service rep was able to get it solved in due time.
Pros:
- Very easy to customize - It manages documents without error
Cons:
- It's a little bit expensive to set up. - It's also sometimes unresponsive when searching

Robust foundations
Comments: Very good and easy to use platform to develop many workflows, co-working spaces and to store documents
Pros:
A great platform for collaboration, presentation, intranet, automation / digitalization of business processes, which is basically "free" as part of the preset of the vast majority of companies using MS 365
Cons:
The simplicity of use and deployment has its price in not too much flexibility to customize the final look, which is simply ... standard
SharePoint a first in its field.
Comments: It was used for a lot of our intranet pages. It was easy to use and it was easy to modify on the fly. New features were seldomly added and I think that's the biggest downfall.
Pros:
It was a first in its field, it allowed for some wonderful pages to be made that helped our intranet flow. It didn't require a lot of learning and the GUI was intuitive.
Cons:
It was good for its time, but the mobile aspect wasn't always the best and eventually other things replaced it.
Microsoft SharePoint - Easy to use collaboration tool.
Comments: Excellent collaboration tool. Updates in real-time. Great for when in a remote setting.
Pros:
The ability to collaborate with others on the team who may be in a remote location.
Cons:
Edits that are taking place simultaneously tends to be a bit confusing
The most effective tool for collaboration.
Comments: My experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been largely favourable, especially regarding its robust capabilities for collaboration and document management.
Pros:
One of the aspects I appreciate most about Microsoft SharePoint is its capacity to enable smooth collaboration and effective document management among teams and organizations.
Cons:
One of the aspects I find most challenging about Microsoft SharePoint is its complexity for new users who may not be acquainted with its interface or functionalities.
Daily team collaboration in a shared approach using Microsoft’s SharePoint
Comments: I have been using for 4+ years . This tool is very much a part of the daily routine at all the organisations I have worked for. Mostly I use it to track the progress of the tasks, the automation test cases written. I share my progress along with my team members, Product manager, technical manager. This helps in tracking my goals and tasks done. Overall a positive experience
Pros:
I really like the real time collaboration idea, Microsoft sharepoint introduces. We can actually share links of same document and collaborate. This helps in tracking team information may be related to tasks, leaves, etc. I also like the Single sign on it has, prevents me from logging in again and again. It is simple, easy to learn and very comprehensive
Cons:
The mobile experience of this platform has scope of improvement. The costing is slightly on the higher side. Customisation of the UI is limited, can be improved.
Fantastic product for file storage and collaborating with multiple users
Comments: SharePoint is great to use as a collaboration space to store documents create list as well as for sharing the documents to other users as the online copy stores all the versions of updates made by the user
Pros:
Using SharePoint as a collaboration space to store documents which can be access locked to limited users .The files in the SharePoint sites also can be easily accessed in other apps such as power bi by providing the file location
Cons:
SharePoint lists are not easy to navigate if there are many columns and rows .A easy to use interface should be introduced
SharePoint - Workhorse of File Storage
Comments: Implementing SharePoint for our 400+ users was a smooth process. Our users love it compared to the old file shares. We save time and therefore money by keeping everything in one spot all accessible from our O365 apps.
Pros:
We use SharePoint across 400+ users and have very few issues at all. It gives the user full control on sharing, version restore and use.
Cons:
At times there have been a few files that were updated offline and do not sync automatically requiring manual intervention. Especially with offline folders when in different time zones.

Pros:
SharePoint has become the central hub for our organization's intranet, connecting employees, departments, and information seamlessly. I love the ability to create team sites, share documents, manage workflows, and build custom applications to meet our specific needs. The integration with other Microsoft 365 apps enhances collaboration and streamlines our daily work.

Although SharePoint offers powerful features, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit complex, requiring some technical expertise and planning.
Sharepoint not as pretty but can do it all
Pros:
Industry leading file management with an endless variety of integration options in the Microsoft 365 suite, most notably Teams. With IT expertise, many features to enhance file sharing, security, integrations, APIs, data protection, and efficient workflows.
Cons:
The interface still looks a bit dated, compared to other solutions like Box or Dropbox. Microsoft should consider updating the look/feel to make many of the powerful features more obvious to the average user.
Microsoft SharePoint helps get and keep you organized.
Comments: We switched from Google Docs to Microsoft SharePoint and haven't looked back. It is has been a much better choice for our company. It feels more seamless and organized.
Pros:
I like that Microsoft SharePoint allows the company to view, share and edit documents.
Cons:
I find that most of the things that were difficult for us in Microsoft SharePoint is user error more than the product itself.
SharePoint - the Best Document Management Program
Comments: I've used it all day every day for the past 15 years.
Pros:
SharePoint does everything I need to maintain and securely store my documents: backups, version control, search and retrieval.
Cons:
I don't like that I have to page through my document libraries instead of being able to jump forward or backwards. For example, it would be good to jump to the documents by the first letter of the document's name.
Microsoft SharePoint: A Central Hub for a Microsoft Workshop
Comments: Overall, the experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been good. It serves as a place to manage multiple Microsoft platforms, from planning, to document storage, to Power BI. I could not imagine working in a Microsoft Workspace without it.
Pros:
Microsoft SharePoint is a central source for curating content for external and internal stakeholders in the Microsoft 365 environment. It has served me and my team well in becoming our team site and initial landing space for business developments.
Cons:
To fully embrace Microsoft SharePoint, means embracing the Microsoft Workshop. Depending on your permission, you may be able to connect to other platforms but the workaround may not be worth it.
Working experience of 4+ years on microsoft sharepoint

This is for collaboration mostly as we have to track the work we are actually doing, what percentage is completed, in progress and in ToDo state. Also we have a role based hierarchy that is defined which is also helpful for us, we create groups and collaborate on the work
Pros:
Its real time synchronous behaviour among multiple users accessing the file at a time. Also the encryption is another important factor for this tool
Cons:
Initial setup is complex for somebody who is naive. Its maintenance requires professionals, slightly costly you can say

Microsoft SharePoint for government
Comments: I have used Microsoft SharePoint for multiple years and it has enhanced our organizations productivity. It has made it easier to collaborate, share files, and organize pertinent information for our staff.
Pros:
How easy it is to create SharePoint sites. Prior to SharePoint, our intranet was managed by our IT department. This created challenges when you needed to update or change things on the site. Moving our Intranet to SharePoint gave us the ability to manage our intranet ourselves. It is very easy to create SharePoint sites and manage them. You don't need to know how to code websites.
Cons:
There really isn't anything to dislike about SharePoint. It is a great product for any business.
Navigating Microsoft SharePoint
Comments: My experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been a mixed bag, starting with its user interface, which I found to be a bit of a maze at first, though it gradually became more intuitive. The collaboration features really shine, making it easy for teams to share documents and work together in real time, which has definitely improved our communication. I’ve enjoyed the customization options, especially when creating workflows that fit our specific needs, and the integration with other Microsoft tools like Teams has been seamless. Performance-wise, it’s mostly reliable, though there have been a few frustrating moments with downtime. The learning curve was a bit steep initially, and I did find myself relying on additional training resources to get up to speed. Thankfully, support has been readily available, which made things easier. Overall, SharePoint has had a positive impact on my productivity, and despite its quirks, I would recommend it to others looking for a robust collaboration tool.

Cons:
Nothing about it has been bad so far. I have enjoyed its usage.

Microsoft Sharepoint for the Professionals
Comments: I like Microsoft Sharepoint for work way better than Google Drive.
Pros:
It's very professional and easy to use. The share drive system makes it easy to store and organize files. The level of security is reassuring so that sensitive information doesn't leave sharepoint. The customization to personalize your workspace also makes it more inviting to use.
