I'm not sure if older versions had data editing functions within the platform as an available upgrade, but I do like that as well - and also, though I have not had a need for them, the dashboard capabilities look nice. We will be experimenting more with those features to see if the upgraded version is worth it for us. > > **Cons**: Rather than as part of an upgrade, I do with that a lot of the data editing capabilities were set in the pro version. This has totally shifted the work from the end of projects to the start. The ability to carry over variables and tabs from previous waves of a tracker is a huge time saver. Additionally, the functionality of having a labelling template where we can clean up our variable codes has been great for sending tabs to clients. Customer service is fantastic and we really enjoy how the software continues to be updated. > > **Cons**: Some shortfalls in functionality. These are namely: 1) Cannot weight by segment. I have to weight all respondents in the file. 2) Append respondents function is complicated and messy, and often doesn't work. We often just have to upload a completely new file, rather than appending additional respondents. This takes a lot of additional time. 3) Respondent-level editing (data view) is still not that great of a functionality. It is difficult to code or change responses, as there are no functions like in Excel here (sort, filter, move columns, vlookup etc.) 4) Charting function is completely useless to us. We have very customized PowerPoint presentations, and thus have to enter the data manually still. It would be better to have a better link between PPT and the software. 5) Not clear on a roadmap of additional functionalities. What additional functionalities are in the pipeline > > Fantastic software.
