Topaz Reviews for Indian Users
A Simple & Affordable Choice.
Pros:
Topaz makes it easy to manage and provide quotes in a timely manner. It is also reasonably priced at about $20 a month.
Cons:
I have not found anything to be missing that I require from the software.
The best de-noising software
Comments: Overall, I really love this brand. Particularly with DeNoise AI, Sharpen AI, JPEG to RAW AI and Mask AI, they are fantastic at what they do. I'm guessing they are all separate, dedicated apps for one thing because they want to make sure to do that one thing extremely well. Maybe a little less convenient to have to jump around to different apps, but it's undeniable that they can do things that other, more all-inclusive apps cannot. DeNoise for me is a lifesaver for animal photos in lower light situations. I do not want to be without it.
Pros:
1. Specifically about Topaz DeNoise AI, it is pretty miraculous. I am often in indoor, low-light situations so I have to use a high ISO in my photography a lot. This software gets rid of the noise, but not just that - it somehow knows what details to preserve so that it doesn't turn into a plastic pile of mush. Detail AND noise removal! I am a heavy Photoshop and Lightroom user and neither of those can do this like Topaz can. 2. Sharpen AI is also very good. It can stabilize those slightly-out-of-focus photos to make them a much better quality photo. (It's not going to save super blurry shots though - you have to start with a decent photo). It is good with noise suppression, too, but works best in conjunction with DeNoise AI (use that one first or all your noise will be sharpened, too). I found it really shines with landscapes and macro flowers, that sort of thing. 3. JPEG to Raw AI I found to be good for taking well-lit point and shoot camera shots and make them higher quality, more like DSLR. Again, it won't fix a super blurry cell phone photo - start with something that is decent. 4. Mask AI is awesome for complicated cutouts, like busy tree branches and such. My favorite part is that it is super easy and quick to use. The quickest solution for good cutouts.
Cons:
1. For Topaz DeNoise AI and Sharpen AI, they are pretty heavy on computer resources. Unless you have a dedicated graphics card, expect them to be slow. Previews are reasonably quick but saving can take a long time. 2. Sharpen AI didn't do the greatest with animal fur. I take a ton of animal photos, so that's definitely something I'd like to see get stronger. 3. Similarly with Mask AI, animal fur was just a bit harder than the other stuff to cut out. I had to do a lot more fussy refinements. 4. Topaz Studio AI - it's not quite there yet. The filters are kind of clunky to use, not a great workflow. Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't figure out how to remove a filter if I didn't like it. It does have decent sharpening, denoising and deblurring though - although not as good as their dedicated apps for those.
Topaz Labs
Comments: Very positive experience with Topaz Lab programs.
Pros:
I have seven Topaz Labs programs. I use four within a Photoshop-type program. The others I use independently to do digital adjustments to my photographs. They need a fairly powerful computer but mine is close to 8 years old and the programs still function well. I like the effects and clarity they produce in my photos.
Cons:
Sometimes due to the powerful programs, processing may take a bit longer than usual but overall, the wait is worth the quality they produce.
Great Photo Manipulation Program
Comments: Cleaning up small, non-RAW format photos, that are laden with noise and Moliere patterns.
Pros:
A great program that uses A.I. to change the noise level in photos, and get better results, than using other, non-A.I. powered photo editors. The Denoise is the best in the industry.
Cons:
The fact that you have to purchase multiple programs, that require separate instances and tools, rather than being contained in one program. Also, it needs better plugin support for Adobe Lightroom.
Estremamente utile
