Paycor works hard for your company

Comments: I, personally think it’s great in my daily use of it but there are some frustrations with some of its functionality

Pros:

You can tell Paycor takes your business seriously and works very hard to give what you need toy get your job done efficiently

Cons:

The reporting platform is confusing and not easy to use at all. It’s disappointing. Also we have A LOT of issues with our employees using the app. They are constantly frustrated with it which makes our job so much harder.

Happy Paycor Customer

Comments: We have been using Paycor for about 3 years. It was a rocky start with our PTO plans not calculating correctly but have fixed those issues. I have taken the time to get Paycor Certified and that has helped me know my way around reporting and timekeeping, which was tricky to figure out at the start. Through the years, I truly believe Paycor is dedicated to improving because I see it every day.

Pros:

It's easy to use! Paycor offers a ton of options to have the system work exactly how you need it to. The trainings are also fabulous!!

Cons:

They do like to change things around, which can be frustrating, but they have a ton of guides to make you aware of what's changing.

Obsolete product

Comments: It was an ok platform; the obsolete interface made it so difficult to us to use feature beyond the basics.

Pros:

The PTO calendar was very neat, and I never had issues with that part.

Cons:

The time clock rarely ever worked properly and reported incorrectly a lot of times.

Once it's set up, it's been wonderful

Comments: It took about 4 months to get everything straightened out and running smoothly. But I really think it's because they were understaffed at the time of onboarding. It has been pretty smooth since.

Pros:

It takes care of a lot of aspects of payroll automatically. It will even integrate month-to-month workman's comp insurance and 401k through Human Interest.

Cons:

The initial setup took forever. Apparently, they had too many companies sign up at the same time and not enough people to do it. They had me submit a bunch of forms and reports, and then couldn't find the information and I had to get them updated reports. It took about 5 months to get everything straightened onut.

Paycor Time management

Comments: I use Paycor on a daily basis! We also use it for quarterly check ins, and it makes the process very smooth and saves time during our check in's. It is very easy to go in and correct a missed punch, check your schedule, request days off and check your vacation and sick day balances.

Pros:

I like the ease of obtaining information in regard to scheduling, PTO, sick days and tracking your time.

Cons:

I honestly do not have any complaints; it's very well laid out and user friendly.

I Fondly like it for managing talents.

Comments: Fondly great for talent management.
Marvelous for payroll reporting

Pros:

I fabulously adore it for tax filling and ACA compliance to ensure our company follow rules and regulations.

Cons:

Indispensable for scalability to adapt to any business size.

A Very Comprehensive Management Tool

Pros:

The abundance of tools you have to manage an entire team from one platform.

Cons:

The options are not always well laid out and you have to navigate multiple menus to find what you're looking for.

Dissatisfied

I did not have a good experience with Paycor.

Cons:

No customer service help. Never spoke to anyone that had English as their first language, which caused several problems in just clear communications and understanding/guidance.

Paycor is very user friendly!

Comments: I prefer using Paycor over several systems I have used in the past. The ease of navigation and accessibility helps admins process employee requests.

Pros:

Paycor is very user-friendly. The point-and-click functionality allows employees and admins to easily navigate the system in both the online and mobile applications.

Cons:

Some of the reporting is difficult to access and populate. I struggled to pull reports that showed me things at a glance; such as time sheets. It would be nice to go to one spot to pull all time sheets instead of individual employee profiles.

Paycor Customer review

Comments: Overall, it's a most positive experience. I think they need to develop their benefits implementation, open enrollment support and EDI feeds. I will say once everything is up and running the platform operations

Pros:

The payroll platform is so seamless and easy to use. This is the best function of the platform. I also like the ATS; it's also easy to post, review, store notes/scorecards, and schedule interviews. The hire to onboarding process is perfect.

Cons:

The customer service and benefits implimentation and enrollment is not the best or smoothest I've used. Once set up, it runs fine.

Comments: So So we did not continue using paycor after year 1

One Stop Shop

Pros:

Paycor is our one stop for all of our HR needs.

Cons:

Currently I am not pleased with Time Off Accruals. We have had so many issues with getting this set up & this has been goin on since implementation.

The Best Payroll Processing Solution

Pros:

When processing payroll, Paycor offers great features. It automates the whole process and also comes with tax management features.

Cons:

So far Paycor has all features we need. No negative encounters.

Glad we switched

Comments: Very happy we switched to Paycor. The system is robust while not feeling overwhelming. Very user friendly and good customer service.

Paycor simplified

Comments: I think in the beginning they were still working out the kinks, but now things are a lot better, haven't had any issues.

Pros:

Versus the system we had before, all the reports are provided based on information entered.

Cons:

That sometimes changes were made to the system without any notification.

Paycor HRIS Review

Comments: Overall, I am quite happy with Paycor. We are able to accomplish what we need and work with them to customize our solution.

Pros:

I like the functionalities of Paycor for almost all things HR related. This system is easy to use for employee payroll, benefits, timekeeping, compensation, and more. The premium support option is amazing - if you have an issue, you call in and talk to a team of Paycor reps that know your company and processes. You talk to the same team each time! They have a lot of extra features that can be added.

Cons:

The downside of Paycor is if you have multiple companies (EIN's) that need to work together. A lot of things can be customized, but some options are a one size fits all for your entire company. This is particularly frustrating with Performance Management as all companies don't do the same thing. Also, it seems like they haven't tested quite enough before rolling out new features.

Paycor Unique Payroll System

Comments: Paycor is my daily choice to use for payroll of employees.

Pros:

Paycor is easy to use and it has a system that is easy to use. With the system paying employees is easy and this saves time.

Cons:

I have nothing that I have seen to be a miss with this platform.

Good product, no direction

Comments: I have had to learn everything on my own and I would have preferred to have an established and developed relationship with a dedicated Paycor account rep who understands our industry and business. There is a lot of room for improvement. I like the product but the implementation was horrible and a lack of responsibility and urgency from the PayCor Implementation Team, with the exception of [sensitive content hidden], who was fantastic.

Pros:

I like the new product development and constant evolution of the products

Cons:

I do not like the level of support we receive for the amount of money we pay every month. The follow up is lacking and it seems to a random hit or miss when reaching someone in customer care.

Paycor as an HRIS

Comments: I went to Paycor's user conference in April 2024 and benefited from doing so. I was able to voice some frustrations/questions while there; representatives from Paycor did follow up with me later to provide answers and training. The sessions they offered had product-specific information, which was helpful to me as a new user. My Paycor experience has been much more positive since then. I did appreciate being heard.

Pros:

The Paycor platform is intuitive to end users.

Cons:

Paycor's general customer service is underwhelming. The implementation for HR modules was nonexisten.

Paycor is robust

Pros:

I like the features in and around the settings management. I like the historical data for the purpose of analytics and for the purpose of getting a quick snapshot of a specific employee's journey through the organization - ie hire date, rate changes, manager changes, status changes, etc

Cons:

its ever-changing offerings and features (or the names for them - COR and Paths and Gravity and Perform and CareerCast and SmartSourcing, etc) and how we arent able to access all the features that we are paying for - we have to call them and ask for access to them one by one. Also the onboarding feature is rough

Paycor Has Incredible and Reliable Features

Comments: The overall experience that I have with Paycor is exceptional.

Pros:

Paycor has been an efficient HR and payroll management tool. I am impressed by Paycor's simplicity.

Cons:

I have zero reasons to dislike Paycor. It is splendid.

Simplies the Time & Pay Management Process

Pros:

Paycor simplified our entire payroll process. It allows employees to have up to the minute information on their time, pay, etc. It's a very user friendly platform while still providing all the necessary pieces.

Cons:

The reporting tools could be upgraded a bit to be more intuitive but we are able to pull out all the info we need so that's not a big issue at all.

Easy of Use

Pros:

Their ease of use has made it very easy for our company to navigate and have teammates use the platform.

Cons:

It is hard to approve employees time off requests.
