### "Good software that allows 3D visualization of seismic, geological and geophysical measurements." — 4.0/5

> **Pros**: Despite not being a software that is "novel" in the use of new tools, it allows a relatively quick and simple visualization of the vertical profiles of data that have been acquired.
Quite useful to quickly define horizons or strata that have certain types of characteristics (for example, soft soil, clayey strata, etc).
> 
> **Cons**: It suffers from what happens to most softwares of this type: the resolution of isolines that define points or surfaces of the same characteristic (for example, equal depth, or the same degree of hardness), depend a lot on the interpolation algorithm that the software is selected or used directly, so in general the characteristics of these surfaces do not reliably characterize the actual conditions being studied.
The use of this software in particular, is limited to machines that operate with 64 bit processors.

> The program has been used basically to compare the results obtained by other software, which is the one used regularly to analyze and process the acquired data.
It is good to emphasize that until now no inconsistencies of relevance have been detected between the data obtained from both softwares.

It's ability to choose between either a human based hand mapping with all the supporting tools or a series of algorithm grid based contouring and all the supportive tools.

> **Cons**: It is a bit pricey but the sales staff often will work with a small company to get them started.

> Have used since1982.  Have seen many changes, from DOS based, Windows based, and expanded to ESRI based, which was my suggestion when they ran into a development roadblock to multithreading in their programming development.
