Pabau for an Aesthetic Clinic

Comments: The onboarding process was very slow for a brand-new clinic with no data to migrate. Most of the support staff have limited knowledge and are unable to provide immediate assistance. The platform has basic bugs that are common in any software platform, indicating a lack of thorough testing before releasing features to the public. Many features in Pabau 2 depend on the original Pabau, requiring tweaks in Pabau 1 for them to function correctly in Pabau 2.

Pros:

I found several aspects of Pabau particularly beneficial: Online Booking System: The ability to create links for specific treatments is a standout feature. It simplifies the booking process for clients and allows for targeted promotion of particular services. Cloud-Based Platform: The cloud-based nature of Pabau ensures that data is securely stored and accessible from anywhere. This enhances flexibility and convenience, making it easy to manage appointments and client information on the go.

Cons:

System Performance: The system can be quite slow at times, which impacts efficiency and productivity. Onboarding Process: The onboarding process is also slower than expected, which can be frustrating for new users eager to get started. Customer Success: The Customer Success experience leaves much to be desired mainly because Customer Success staff were not trained on Pabau 2 features or how to use them. Customer Retention Focus: Customer retention should be a core aspect of every interaction. Ensuring that users feel valued and supported can significantly improve overall satisfaction. System Bugs: There are still multiple bugs present in the system despite it being in the production environment. Addressing these issues promptly would enhance the user experience and reliability of the platform.

Comments: Overall, I really like this software. This is a fantastic user-friendly software, Has loads of options that you can choose from. Also, you can make your own templates which makes it very easy to work on. Quick and easy templates that make your clinical job very easy. I have worked with many other softwares like Spectrum and SOCRATES Etc But I found this one quite helpful and easy

Pros:

Friendliness to work with, user-friendly software. Gives you loads of options and you can have your own plans which is really fantastic.

Cons:

Initially induction, I was left on my own and it was quite frustrating. Also, the amount of time it took to set up and everything was not easy.

Impossible to set the system up and no access to support

Comments: pretty shady so far. They took my existing customer data quickly but since then I can't get up and running on a system that I am being charged for.

Pros:

I loved the demo and it appeared to do everything I wanted but there are some serious concerns at this stage. 1. So far the company has charged me over £600 and cannot supply a VAT invoice. 2. I have been trying to access support all week and no one has been able to resolve the issue. 3. The dashboard is different to the video learning films 4. When I signed up I said that I wanted access to support staff to help me configure it. So far there is no response.

Cons:

It seems shady. You have no idea where the staff are located - they work weird hours and the answers I have which are genuine support questions are not being answered. I can't even get a call booked in which was part of the "GOLD" onboarding package I signed up to.

I must say I am dissapointed to see your review which has subsequently caused other people not to proceed with the software, when in fact, the team have been on hand to help you - and the main issue was your own router was blocking access to the terminal. I checked the onboaridng with the Onboarding manager and the emails that you have been sent would have contained all the links you needed to book in with our team at the relevant time. In a world where reviews mean to much, I do think to be called shady is not a fair especially as you had not completed the academy which is requested. As I said to you last week, my team are at your full disposal to get setup, and hopefully you will be able to leave a more considered review when you have completed the onboarding and are fully setup. Training is vital. Ideally in person training. [sensitive content hidden] came to train the whole team and she was able to update all our setting avoiding problems further down the line.

Cons:

Better execution of the basics, customer service very good

Pros:

The customer service is great, I am on the chat most days and have an answer to my questions within a couple of hours. The reminders, pre care and after cares are excellent and the desktop is lovely to use.

Cons:

We use the app and it just does not keep up with Pabau on the desktop, which is a shame as it is what we use the most and this was explained to the agent when Pabau was sold to us. The basics don't always work as they should, clients haven't been getting reminders for over 2 weeks now. Get the basics spot on before implementing any other features I would say.

Pabau after one year

Comments: Overall very good. There are a few elements mentioned above which would bring it into excellent all round for me.

Pros:

I like the ease of moving from clinical notes to photos to appointments to admin - all smoothly transition. Photos are easy to import and show side by side.

Cons:

I would like easier direct entry to fields such as medical history, family history, social history rather than only have it automated from the medical questionnaire form. Investigations are not very developed yet in terms of export of tests / import of results, not much for imaging, and no inbuilt scoring system for things like BMI, CVS risk, dementia screen etc

Poor customer service

Comments: Overall Pabau does what it needs to until it doesnt. The software glitches and customer service is appalling. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I have not been able to see my schedule for over 7 weeks and keep being told that it is in the process of being rectified by 'x' date and it does not. I can not speak to anyone and I am stuck. Find a company with better support!

I had used it at a different practice and wanted to stay consistent

Cons:

Pabau has THE WORST customer service. Do not expect to speak to anyone. There is a standard response and issues routinely take 6-8 weeks to rectify. I have had 2 issues in the last two years and both incredibly frustrating- there is no contact person and there is no accuracy to when they will fix a problem. There is no apology and no attempt to help the situation.

Maryam We both know this review is littered with inaccuracies and we communicated on email and showed our team had in fact been more than helpful with your issues. The nature of development is some issues take longer to solve than others based on priority and how many clients are impacted, we are more than happy to deal with clients and work with them to make the system better , but when faced with nothing but lies from someone who supposedly understands how reviews can impact a business it’s surprising you have taken it upon yourself to not only give an inaccurate review, but may put others off by the fact you have downright lied. Comments: PABAU product is very very bad also on trust pilot they got so many bad reviews that they have removed their company name from it. Well customers can still seee their company real reviews 1* !

Pros:

PABAU app doesn’t work it redirect to website. PABAU newsletters once sent are totally different that how you design them on system. Contacts failing payments not going through. While project is a mess do not risk to bankrupt your business !

Cons:

Do not use PABAU for your business honestly you will lose out badly!

Pabau 2 Migration

Comments: Generally very good, a few teething problems with the migration but I'm sure they'll get ironed out in due course

Pros:

I have recently been migrated over to Pabau 2 and I can see the benefits of the new system. The online booking integration reduces my clinic admin as patients can book directly online

Cons:

Customer service works but they take time to get back to you. Teething problems with the migration means some of my automated services set up previously aren'y currently working and need setting up again

Comments: Good. Helpful staff, chat is answered with most questions answered. Helpful friendly team.

Pros:

The capability of the whole system allows for everything to be in one place.

Cons:

A lot to learn to use it effectively. Few hiccups with communication, however they seem to have resolved this issue now.
