In July 2025, we received a renewal invoice, paid it promptly through Breezy’s own portal, and assumed our renewal was complete. In August 2025, Breezy contacted us, saying our “renewal was past due” and threatened to interrupt service unless we signed a new contract at a higher price. When I asked why the invoice and the contract were different, Breezy acknowledged that their contracts and invoices “don’t sync” and that the billing system had auto-generated the lower invoice. We refused to sign the new contract, stating that we had paid in good faith the invoice Breezy provided. The next day, Breezy informed us at 10:31 a.m. Central that they would not honor the invoice we had already paid and required us to sign the new contract and pay the additional amount. We reiterated our refusal. At 11:50 a.m. Central, Breezy notified us that they had processed a partial refund, deducted for days already used since the July renewal, and cancelled our plan — letting us know we could go online and sign up for one of their self-service tier plans. We lost access to our account at that time.
