> **Pros**: Able to run credit cards manually or with card reader.  setting up recurring billing.  able to capture donors credit card information for easy charging later. Invoicing by email.

> **Cons**: You can't delete invoices or drafts, you only close them.  Then they stay on your feed.  That makes it a little confusing.

> I like that we can keep our donors info for credit cards safe and on file without having to have the actual card.  Invoicing is easy and fast.  The cost is minimal per transaction compared to other programs and the payments are automatically batched and transferred to your account daily.  No need to manually transfer.

### "WATCH OUT\! Payfirma charges more than is written in their contract\!" — 1.0/5

> **Pros**: Payfirma is affilitated with and integrates with JaneApp, my point of sale software. The fact that Payfirma integrates with JaneApp was convenient, and Payfirma was the only merchant processing option that integrated with JaneApp.  And since JaneApp is such a great company, I thought Payfirma would be trustworthy.  I was wrong.

> **Cons**: I was in a 2.75% fixed flat rate contract with Payfirma, but slowly over time, they began increasing my rate up to 3.25%.  

But they didn't stop there. They also charged a long list of other monthly fees that were NOT included on our 2.75% fixed flat rate contract including: volume fees, miscellaneous dues \& assessments, non-qualified interchange fees, license rate fees, NABU fees, digital enablement fees, location fees, ACQR processor fees, fixed network CMP fees, file transmission fees, integrity fees, data usage fees, and volume fees.  None of these fees were supposed to be in our flat rate contract\!

When we notified them of these overcharges, instead of refunding us the overcharges, they said our best recourse would be to enter into a new "rate reduction" contract in order to save money going forward.  Once we began our new contract, they only charged us MORE\!  

When we called them on these new overcharges, they were resistant to refund all of the extra fees...only some were refunded.  And these same overcharges just continue on month after month.  According to our calculations, they have overcharged us over $5800.00\!  That's a lot of money to a small business like mine.

> Since Payfirma is not putting forth a good faith effort to resolve these matters according to best practices, it looks like the only way I can get my money refunded back to me is to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Public Regulation Commission, and Attorney General's Office.  

Payfirma is not helping my small business.  Payfirma is hurting my business by overcharging me and refusing to do what is right and refund me for all of these non-contractual overcharges.  

To make matters worse, they are not easy to get ahold of, and do not return phone messages or emails promptly.  Their representatives are not able to help much, and when upper management is finally reached, they are unfriendly and unhelpful.  I do NOT recommend Payfirma at all\!  Definitely go with a different merchant processing company\!

> **Pros**: We used Payfirma as our POS for our Food Truck business. We liked it initially. However, after comparing it with several other options, we realized it was very limited in functionality, specially with regards to the inventory. We would get a daily report, which was not very clear, and it would not give us a clear view of our business. We switched to Shopkeep after using it 1 year.
