Excellent time management tool for startups and SMEs
Comments: Through the years, I've tried a number of other online scheduling tools, but Vagaro is far and away the finest option for companies of any size. Vagaro has considered every detail, including cost, usability, online tutorial videos, quality customer service, and a plethora of customizable features like gift card and credit card integration, as well as email and marketing tools.
Pros:
Excellent service is a major selling point for me. Their instant messaging service is quick and simple to use. The program is constantly updated, making it seem better and better while improving its functionality.
Cons:
I'm not sure I have many complaints because they seem to listen to their consumers and address any issues that arise. The biggest challenge has been teaching customers how to properly pronounce the name.

Comments: Overall it has been satisfactory, which is why I am still here. The inconvenience of setting up another platform has not been worth the move to another platform

Ease of use, consistency of good customer service and added features
Cons:
High email/text marketing costs, high rates to process payments, inability to credit/rollover unused portion of marketing plan ( ie. if I pay for 5k emails and only use 2k, it would be nice to allow rollover of unused portion) Especially due to the fact that there have been many glitches or unexplained sends that were not actually sent!! We have so much wasted money due to this

On the fence, but TRIAL IS SO USEFUL IN UNDERSTANDING THE SOFTWARE!
Pros:
Not sure how I feel about it. I have completely mixed views. I signed up for a trial period, when I thought my business would be opening in May, It is now September and I am about to open. The trial period, did not let me obviously try the debit card or payment options. Then from my understanding if you didn't click to continue the trial period, you were no longer getting the service. Yet I am being asked to pay $40.00, $35.00 plus a late fee, for service used in June. But my trial period was end of May to June, so this put me off. THEN they locked me out of my account and are asking me to pay a past due balance of $40.00 but what will happen then, that's just to unlock my account and then are they going to charge me for what more months of NON -USAGE. I sent emails but they bounced back with literally, we've detected key words in your email that this filter system won't allow anyone to respond to. Now imagine if I were up and running and this happened? When I was using the trail period, here is what I somewhat liked: The landing page The reminders although I felt like the customer emails were lacking in personal touch and were standard, and seemed very automated to me and "cold." I couldn't figure out how to personalize it. Then the location was neat, but again. The email reminders were a little one liner, reminder but something about them felt off putting. Not sure, I did find the landing page creation challenging but nonetheless they give you a landing page. The add ons are expensive so for a software all of a sudden you can come up to over $200 I get it, but why is there nothing for a start up, entrepreneur? The $50.00 program seemed ideal and overall it seems like a good software but this $40.00 is absolutely offputting to me, so if I pay them and still can't access my account, they would have gained $40.00 for me for after a trial period where I was not using the program? So I don't know. BUT i do suggest doing the trial period. I 've done several with some others and so far, nothing seems to be wowing me or they're way to expensive for my start up.
Cons:
Their capacity to shut your account down if there is a missed payment. Imagine running a business and that happens.

Comments: I would say I have had mixed experiences with Vagaro. The last time I used the app, it seemed to have been a bit more streamlined and easier to navigate but I did not make an appointment that time.
Pros:
The app is fairly easy to navigate. Being able to sign in via other platforms is a major bonus.
Cons:
Finding providers and services near me can be challenging. The app will show providers and services in other locations which are no where near me.

I liked the fact that it was pretty easy to use, and I was able to contact customer service. It was also inexpensive

Pros:
I am fortunate enough that all the cosmetic places I go to (hair, nail, eyebrows, spay) use the Vagaro software. There I have been using Vagaro for years and I love it. It is easy to use, they remind me of appointments and I can add multiple services to my cart. It's easy for me to share with friends and family as well, and it is just as easy to follow with the older generation.
Cons:
I like the dark mode featuers on iPhone and Vagaro does not have that but that is not a big deal. Other than that, I have no complaints. It is easy to schedule, cancel appointments and see when your providers have availability.

Comments: When you set appointments with your clients you can send automated reminders and emails.All payment are secure and accurate.Vagaro is the best that everyone can use due to its effectiveness and the ease of use.

QuickBooks integration does not function properly. Vagaro support refuses to address the issue.
Comments: Support is deplorable and the integration with QuickBooks a total joke! I have been "working with" support for nearly a year to address this issue and to get the integration (push to QuickBooks) fixed, to no avail. Vagaro support continues to claim that the integration is working as it should but have never actually looked at the reports from within their system vs. the data they push to QuickBooks to confirm that this is so.... bottom line, it is not working properly and has not been for nearly 2 years!!

The POS system seems to work okay, for the most part. Appt setting also seems to work okay.
Cons:
Integration with QuickBooks is a joke!! It has not worked for the entire 1.5 years we have been with Vagaro, regardless of the number of emails, texts, chats, phone calls I have had with support and the amount of data and information I have provided to them in order to address the issue and prove that the integration is not functioning properly. We cannot trust any of the data coming from Vagaro as it simply does not match their own information!! We have paid the $30/mo integration fees for months and months, yet Vagaro has never provided us with data that appears to be even close to accurate in any stretch of the imagination! My suggestion? Look for another platform if you intend to use QuickBooks for your accounting integration platform. If you are using another platform, I would strongly suggest that you investigate the capabilities and do your homework and seek out user reviews before selecting Vagaro for anything other than a straight POS and appointment management system.

Vagaro is a double edged sword
Comments: when i pointed this stuff out to support, they gaslighted me pretty hard, saying if I wanted that sort of functionality (not having my clients have to perform 3-5 clicks to get to the right service/product) that i should buy their hosted web design? ummm no im good i dont want to build a website on their platform They seem friendly but if you ask any technical questions they have been trained to sidestep them and offer solutions that are more beneficial to Vagaro than your spa/salon etc. Be careful!!!

pretty straightforward to setup - the onboarding was weird bc they wouldn't allow multiple stakeholders to attend the onboarding meeting from multiple accounts?
Cons:
You should carefully decide whether you want to support Vagaro - here's why. The #1 reason we initially were looking at integrating Vagaro into our business was seamless bookings. They offer a pretty robust backend that makes it easy to add products/services and schedule them to a calendar. Unfortunately, if you want a very frictionless experience for your potential customers to book an appointment, there is a dangerous trade-off. #1: where your reviews live Vagaro's software prominently highlights / promotes leaving reviews on THEIR platform, which in the end benefits Vagaro's landing pages (which they rank on Google for local services, then they promote your competitors to that platform) #2 if you want to direct link to specific services or products you sell with a booking widget, you can't do that on your own website. You have to generate a link and send people to Vagaro.com This is problematic because now your potential customer/client is on a website which advertises your competitors.

Initially Good, then overall decline in application
Comments: Initially, it was really good, however, about 6 months ago there was a major upgrade, and the application has declined and seems to have many issues within their marketing campaign, forms, and syncing between locations.
Pros:
Initially, we needed to track our customers packages, gift cards, and appointments. Scheduling, reminders and forms for services were also an important feature.
Cons:
We are required by our insurance company to have forms for each service and forms have been an issue by not sending out to customers, saying they are filled out when they are not. Additionally, the marketing campaign feature (emails/text) does not provide you with correct data. What they say will be "Announced" does not match what was processed and text messages are sent DAYS after it was announced. Additionally, customers are missing from the email/text campaigns and Vagaro says that to account for any missing customers that would be an "enhancement". Reallyyyyy, what is processed versus delivered/failed do not match and there are missing customers and that is considered an enhancement. Additionally, you have to submit a ticket to determine what happened and if they don't research it with a 7-day window, they respond that they can't research it. We have been going round and round for over 4 months to get these issues resolved. Very disappointed in where this application is going.

Vagaro didn't work well, and it was tough to cancel the subscription, Beware
Comments: Not real great software, and poor customer service. Its a scammy product and they make it difficult to cancel.
Pros:
I wanted to use it for the scheduler and payment processing.
Cons:
The credit card processor did not connect well to multiple devices, and so I cancelled it. I actually had to pay for the CC processor, but when I went to cancel Vagaro they still forced me to pay another $100 for a "free" CC processor, even though I paid for it. Very frustrating and the support was not good. DO NOT use this application. Its very scammy.

Comments: I don't hate this software, I know there are some major improvements to make this software even better.
Pros:
I like the ease with which customers can get text verification and book with just a few clicks on their mobile app. I also like the fact that their email system can successfully send emails. It's the best feature product that can be fairly easily customized.
Cons:
There really isn't a downside to not getting help from the tutorial video. I liked everything that was totally fine

Easy to use
Comments: very nice I really like the program. It's easy to use and has most things that you need.

My clients and myself love the reminders. It's easy to use.
Cons:
I wish we could put a person's name in to find a gift certificate. Also, wish we could have another color for personal time off besides brown. but really I guess it doesn't matter that much. the most I don't' care for is the soap notes, it needs to be more professional looking when printed out. the best soap notes program I used was win city soap notes they were very professional looking and easy to use. Printed out very nicely. unfortunate they are not in business any longer. I use clinic Sense which is ok.

Comments: Vagaro has help me solve payroll issues, appointment setting and calendar for employees. It help simplify work for salon receptionist.
Pros:
Customer service has been impeccable for me. The willingness to adhere to customers needs and their vast ability to adapt to changing of the industry is a huge plus. Buy now pay later is a great way to now upsell high end products.
Cons:
The Pricing on text marketing I think is costly.

Online payments and membership renewals are the most beneficial things for me and have increased my revenue!

My members without auto renewal do not consistently get emails of membership expiring. I do not know if it is the difference of their online submission versus me checking them out or invoicing them.

Pros:
I have just finished setting up Vagaro for our Medical Imaging Division and it was so user friendly and I really like it. I am so excited for our customers to start using it! All the options are absolutely wonderful and it was pretty easy to set up- when I called for support the support staff [sensitive content hidden] was excellent. I highly recommend this - have not seen it in action but if it is as smooth as the set up was- I would try it!
Cons:
It is very focused on Salon and Spa services which required me to make some work arounds and be creative as our company is healthcare. This is not for our patients but our clients. Vagaro helped me with all my work around questions and I simply love it so far!
