It works for our reporters in the field and for our editors and producers at the newsdesks and controlrooms. - Ease of use: the app is easy to learn and use. After a couple of minutes of crash course a new reporter can deliver a live broadcast in a breakin news situation. The backend is also user friendly > > **Cons**: - The app lacks some functions: Audio level indicators Warning if external mic is not working/connected. Low battery warning It should be also be nice if app was able to send still image captures during ongoing live broadcast Android version should be identical to iOS version App should also be able to send directly to rtmp (without need for manual connect to output in admin). Maybe assign a rtmp-adress to specific user? - The Dashboard lacks: - A true search on all content (on author, tags, date/time interval) - Image download filenames are still a mess (please ad metadata in the same manner as for video) - Some kind of auto-reconnect to output channel would be nice (if stream from field drops it should automatically start streaming to same SDI-output when it is reconnected) - The drag/drop function to switch streams to a SDI-output could be developed. For example clicking on the stream that should be output is easier than draggin and dropping. - A downloadable version of video should be created in background as soon as it´s uploaded in dashboard.
