I really like it because of its great support for formats and codecs. Another benefit is its modular, highly customizable interface designed for newcomers. My action camera records in .mov format which is hard to edit with. I convert my raw files to .mp4 which makes editing much easier and I'm unable to discern any loss of video quality.
