Salesforce functionality

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

I use Dooly to update lead information efficiently every morning and it updates their Salesforce information. This saves me hours of time a week and I have never had any problems with the service. If anyone uses Salesforce on a daily basis, this is a MUST to save yourself time and sanity.

Cons:

The only functionality problem I have encountered is the inability to scroll horizontally to the left (on Mac), without initiating the "back" gesture.

Dooly Saves Companies

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Please read above!

Pros:

Let's face it. In this day and age, staying at a company for longer than 2-3 years is unheard of - especially for the millennial generation, also known as the Burn Out generation. Changing jobs, leaving accounts and customers behind is normal. It's part of the new cycle of career life. But with this comes customers and accounts changing hands frequently to the point of frustration for your clients and the new Account Manager taking over who has no idea what the customer cares about, who their kids are or what they did for the weekend - all important information to ensure renewal, expansion and prevention of churn. In enters Dooly. The tool that allows team members to seamlessly sync their calendar and their CRM of choice with a note taking platform that allows you to clearly indicate who attended, when the meeting took place and use templates to help guide the conversation and record important information fo the next Account Manager. Dooly is a lifesaver - it helps us set up team members for success, synchronize and consolidate all meeting notes for one customer in one flowing document and therefore keep customers happy by always being able to speak to their needs.

Cons:

I have no negative or constructive feedback. I love Dooly. Get me a t-shirt please.

Good, not great

4.0 5 years ago

Pros:

Easy to take notes, good to have templates and simple to find old notes and sync with SFDC.

Cons:

If you update SFDC, then go into dooly and sync your note, everything in SFDC gets erased, which is very annoying.

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the feedback. The info on the Salesforce side should only update with the content from your Dooly note. If the Dooly note has fields that are blank, then that would update SF with a blank too. If you're seeing anything else happening please let us know so we can investigate. Thank you!

Easy Salesforce Interface and Reporting

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Helpful interface to keep up-to-speed on Salesforce-related activity

Pros:

I use Salesforce to update all sales opportunities, as opposed to entering data directly into Salesforce, which can be slower to navigate. It saves me time entering in notes from calls and meetings, while allowing me to track all open opportunities with lots of flexible views/filters

Cons:

While the Dooly templates allow me to enter in required Salesforce fields for every call/meeting, there's no way to have a consolidated notes log that condenses all call/meeting notes for an opportunity (similar to what you'd do with a Google Doc, Evernote, etc). When working sales opportunities that last 6+ months, there are dozens of meetings and calls with information being captured from each meeting, so it can be difficult to summarize those notes.

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the review and feedback! Tagging or other ways to organize long note history is something we're considering - I'll add your feedback to the details for that ticket. Couple of suggestions in the meantime: - Try using Headings to organize your notes for those long deals. Just select a line and choose H1 from the format window. Then you can expand or collapse the text under that heading. If you have a quick summary of the call at the top of the note, those would be enough for you to look at for a quick scan through the history. - Update fields in a side modal instead of your note to keep your notes tidier. Click on "record options" and "show salesforce fields" to see how that works in a note. Cheers!

Great place to find all your notes

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

I love how I can see all the notes across my accounts, opportunities, and contacts in one place. I love how it all syncs automatically to Salesforce and I can run analytics on these syncs. I love the integrations and the ability to update Salesforce fields automatically from the Dooly note.

Cons:

Dooly needs more formatting options, like the ability to colour, highlight, and underline text. When you insert a contact field into the notes, it does not give you the ability to see their phone number or title. It only returns back their name and email. Return back the title at the minimum so I don't have to go back to SF or my other notes to check back. If you have a meeting event and open a note for that meeting, it shows you the attendees but it doesn't give you the ability to check off and take attendance (e.g. some people don't show up and your attendee list is not accurate in the end).

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the review! A few comments back ... I've submitted this feedback to our product team: more formatting options and checking off attendance (love this one!!). When you add a contact, if you want additional fields to fill in, just need to create those as dependencies in Salesforce or send us the list you'd like. Keep the feedback coming!

A faster and more intuitive way to update Salesforce records

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: I have to admit I didn't use it for the first couple of months to it's full potential, until a colleague explained it to me when I was having trouble with Salesforce errors. Since I learned all of the different processes I can manage with it, I work out of dooly more than I do Salesforce!

Pros:

I love the ability to update records in Salesforce without having to go into Salesforce. Not only can I log notes from calls and create task lists for myself, I can also create templates to update records when moving opportunities to different stages, viewing lists of records (accounts/opportunities) so that I can update next steps. With the upgrade to lightening and so many integrations plugged in, Salesforce can be very slow. Dooly definitely provides a great alternative

Cons:

It can be laggy sometimes New users need either good training or some sort of intuitive guide built into the software to show how useful it can be used and the efficiencies it can provide to sales people

Reducing Salesforce Noise & Focussing On Work

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

- I never have to go into our Salesforce UI as part of my day to day any more. I'm submitting all my account notes and activities through Dooly these days! - I really love the rich formatting options for account notes. Trying to create readable notes in Salesforce makes my heart sad. - It's a real time saver! The dynamic templates to push data into Salesforce are awesome. I also used to spend so much time scrolling huge pages to find a tiny 'save' button and navigating Salesforces UI in general. - It's connected to my calendar! Makes it easy to retrospectively update notes from the day.

Cons:

Honestly I'm just so happy to be using Dooly I might be blind to the downsides but I have yet to find them. I have nothing bad to say. I found a minor UI bug one time in months of usage- I reached out and they had it fixed within a few minutes which is crazy. Can't wait to see where this product goes.

Converted me from hand-written notes

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

Super easy to use and link to a Salesforce opportunity - makes referencing notes later much easier than flipping through pages of notes. Love having templates set up to ensure I get the correct info on each call.

Cons:

Tricky to find where to to go to switch the note to another Opportunity/Account Only some Salesforce fields can be pre-populated

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the review and feedback! All fields on that record type should populate - so if there's something you're having an issue with please let us know so we can troubleshoot. And we just shipped new UI for notes, so hopefully that makes it easier for you to switch which record the note is attached to.

Dooly is a game-changer for weekly reporting and forecasting

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I have had a great experience with Dooly as it keeps track of my notes, MEDDIC, and Mutual Success Plans for deals I close.

Pros:

It allows you to easily modify fields in Salesforce without having to click individually in each area and wait. Dooly saves me 3-5 minutes on every record I update daily.

Cons:

It would be nice if Dooly integrated with with Clari so I didn't have to spend 20-30 minutes updating Clari on my end.

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the review and feedback. We will be exploring potential integrations we could do next. So will put Clari on the wishlist.

Dooly-Please Duly Note it down please.

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I LOVE dooly. I am a huge advocate and champ for this product. I highly recommend it to my entire team. I was a little skeptical at first as its a new tech and sometimes can feel adverse to this as it can be cumbersome to learn a new process or change your existing work flow. I will never look back after using dooly. I will never use SFDC without Dooly ever again!

Pros:

That it makes using Salesforce so much better. I cannot stress enough how annoying it is to fill in notes in SFDC only to have to refresh your screen. Dooly eliminates this and allows for custom templates depending on your use of SFDC, on what you want to update on field characters.

Cons:

NOTHING AT ALL! Seriously this is a life saver. Makes taking notes down while talking so easy.

Great tool for easily tracking notes and activity back to SFDC

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

The tool is very easy to use, has become a part of my process for meeting prep. Will write all pre-meeting notes as well as take notes during the meeting and save in Dooly, which will log back to SFDC automatically against the account/oppty/etc.

Cons:

Not much to complain about - there is likely more I could be doing with the tool so finding ways to get more usage out of meeting/note templates etc. without needing to set them all up myself would be helpful.

Thank you for the review and feedback! Looking forward to chatting with you soon about how you can get even more out of Dooly. I'll get you rolling on templates super fast too.

If your Director is constantly nagging you about updating your SFDC - you need Dooly!

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

Helps me keep my SFDC clean and up to date and keeps my Director off my back! Intuitive, easy to use, and a lot of different ways to ensure you don't have 100+ tabs constantly open.

Cons:

May just be our settings - but I can update the sales stage via Dooly :(

Dooly Research Response

Thank you for the review and feedback! You likely have some dependencies on stage that make it complicated to update within a board/pipeline view because the field tries to sync as soon as you update it. You can update stage and the dependencies very easily within a note for an opportunity though. Use a template to store all the fields that need updating or just add them fresh to a note. The note doesn't sync until you click the sync button so you can do all of the fields you need to all at the same time. Hopefully that will keep you out of Salesforce even more.

Comments: Very good, makes note taking seamless and eliminates double entry.

Pros:

The ability to take notes and sync them over to salesforce for me is very useful. I like that my calendar ties into Dooly as well so that I can coordinate notes with specific meetings.

Cons:

Salesforce Reporting No More!!!

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Dooly makes note taking, pipeline management, and reporting a breeze. As a salesforce longtime user, the UI, function, and refresh sucks. Dooly gives all these things superpowers. I get visibility on everything, and my team can easily address and update relevant fields all in one place.

Pros:

Dooly is so easy to use for reporting across my teams, from account and opportunity notes over to statuses and stages of our customer lifecycle.

Cons:

Great Integration with SalesForce

Comments: Very positive experience! Tool works exactly as described / needed.

Pros:

How easily it syncs notes back into SalesForce (to the correct opportunity / account as well!)
