Mimo offered the best option as a free trial. Thus, far, I have been able to easily take notes on my Ipad so that I can reference them wherever I am. The application is fairly simple to use. As the developers have responded to my concerns, the platform for writing with a stylus has improved significantly. I almost never have any problems when writing notes anymore. The ability to type an app either with the supplied format or free form is excellent as well. Looking up notes on the ipad is relatively easy, but looking up notes on the computer is seamless. All in all I’m thrilled that I found this app and very happy with its performance. > > **Cons**: As mentioned above, I initially had an issue with the performance of the platform for hand-writtten notes using a stylus. Random lines would appear for no reason whatsoever and while I was able to erase them, it was highly inconvenient. The company (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]) worked with me on this very closely and I was impressed with their customer support and also with their dedication to make the app work perfectly. My understanding was that they had to figure out the sensitivity of the screen so that random lines would not appear. Currently, after more than 6 months, it is working quite well. I do occasionally get a line or two if maybe my sleeve or a button on my sleeve hits the screen but usually this doesn’t happen anymore. > > I’ve been able to use an app where I can hand write my notes, my preferred manner, without using numerous sheets of paper and having to store them. The app stores all the notes in their secure cloud and I can access or print notes whenever necessary. Handwritten notes appear as written, and when they print out they look like my notes would look if I’d used paper and pen. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was more than generous with his time and I never felt as if I was bothering them with my feedback.
