PayPal Reviews for Indian Users

PayPal Software Review.
Comments: Its a flexible payment options – customers can pay using their PayPal balance, credit card, debit card, or linked bank account. I like that a lot about it. and that it makes it easier for online marketers to do business without worrying about payments methods.
Pros:
I like that its a global online product and the fast payments – I can receive payments instantly. No waiting for checks or long bank transfers. and I like that PayPal works in many countries and supports different currencies. Lastly its easy to set up – I can add PayPal to my website or online store quickly without needing advanced tech skills.
Cons:
Fees Can Be High – PayPal charges transaction fees, which can add up, especially for small businesses or frequent sales, and for holding funds up to 21 days on other transactions.
PayPal is a great and convenient software for beginners and for savers
Comments: Overall I’m a happy PayPal user for over 7 years. It is becoming my go to.
Pros:
The simplicity and how it evolved over the years. I love the savings program
Cons:
Transfers sometime take over 2 weeks to complete. Seems to be something they’ve improved recently.
Funds frozen Out
Comments: PayPal makes online transactions super easy, and I love how convenient it is! That said, the random freezing of funds and the lack of proper communication can really be a pain
Pros:
It’s straightforward to use, widely accepted, and lets you process transactions quickly while keeping track of everything
Cons:
Having your funds frozen out of nowhere is frustrating, especially when it’s hard to get clear answers. The fees can add up too, and their customer support isn’t always easy to reach when you need them
Alternatives Considered:
Easy, Versatile, Multi-Faceted, and Reliable
Comments: Overall, PayPal is easy to set-up, and can be used over a multitude of distribution channels, on websites, phone apps, in e-mail campaigns, and in person, too. The functionality is intuitive, and PayPal requires minimal orientation/training for people to use. I highly recommend it.
Pros:
There are a number of ways that an organization can use PayPal, from using it as a tool to collect money for a specific purpose, to being able to collect money on site in a retail sale, to fundraising and soliciting donations for an organization, etc. It's varied, versatile, and easy-to-use.
Cons:
The back-end reporting that PayPal offers has improved, but it could be improved a bit further, helping an organization know more about who is interacting with it, etc.
PayPal Recurring Billing
Comments: Overall experience has been positive. The price isn't a deterrent because the technology is so good.
Pros:
PayPal offers seamless integration and a user-friendly interface for customers.
Cons:
The processing fees are on the higher end of the scale compared to other merchant account providers.
A Widely Used Payment Gateway
Comments: My experience with PayPal was nice. I have implemented it for one of my project as per client requirement. It was smooth experience to implement it in the project.
Pros:
Globally recognised. Well-documented REST API with SDKs.
Cons:
Higher transaction fees compared to alternatives.
PayPal is the best!
Comments: I use PayPal to pay and receive money whenever applicable
Pros:
A super and secure easy to use online payment system
Cons:
Currently i have zero issues with PAYPAL
Trusted but not the best
Comments: I have found it ok, but sStripe is much easier to use. I struggled with crating a button, I'm not a developer but am decent at Wordpress and just couldn't get it to work.
Pros:
It's well known and trusted by a huge variety of customers
Cons:
The platform is over complicated and not very intuitive. Fees are also high

My review about PayPal and what I love about it
Comments: PayPal is really good and I can always use it to put my money on my HSBC debit card.
Pros:
PayPal is something you can use to withdraw your money into your bank. You can also use PayPal to buy stuff on eBay as well and you can also use PayPal to add money.
Cons:
It can sometimes give me errors and it logs me out automatically for no reason.
PayPal is still the best despite it's short comings.
Comments: PayPal is a wonderful piece of software having used it for two years despite its minor issues with handling disputes, other wise its great and would definitely recommend it.
Pros:
It's simplicity and fast processing of payments.
Cons:
Handling of disputes, the app becomes inadequate in such matters.
Alternatives Considered:
3 out of 5 stars overall
Comments: I started using square more and PayPal put a freeze on my business account asking for my taxes and other paper work which I have already provided once before and it was a pain. It is back up and running but just was a hindrance I was not prepared for.
Pros:
Being able to use the virtual terminal to take credit card payments, links you can send in text messages to receive payments, QR scanning to ring up items as well as take a payment.
Cons:
The captcha glitch is the worst, next is the lack of quality customer service, trying to accomplish adding money to your balance and 90% of the time there is an error. Business App should have more options to take payment.
Alternatives Considered:
Secure and easy to use
Comments: Overall, I haven't had any trouble with PayPal in the 10+ years I've been using it, both as a customer and as a seller.
Pros:
PayPal has gotten much easier to use over the last several years. The app actually works great and I've never had any issues with it. Sending and receiving money is easy, and being able to see all of your recent activity is great. Generating reports on the business side is also nice.
Cons:
For some reason, a lot of people still don't trust PayPal and won't use it. Also as a seller, PayPal fees are pretty high.
Alternatives Considered:
PayPal is the best service especially for new businesses
Comments: My experience with PayPal has been great over the years they've helped me to grow my business and also taught me a lot I do e-commerce also have a digital business as well.
Pros:
I love PayPal been using PayPal for over 20 years now and they hel run my entire business don't know what I would do without them their service makenit easy to receive payments from just about anywhere instantly what's not to love about that plus many other tools and services they have that I don't think they're is enough room to state here.
Cons:
I would love for PayPal to make it easier for small businesses to get money for help also when sending transactions family to family if they find that transaction was sent in that way to be fraudulent we should be able to get a refund but based on how the system is set up you can't do that right now that's about it.
Protecting Scammers and Defrauding Customers
Comments: Paypal is definitely protecting scammers. I had two transactions recently that I sought a refund on. Both times the seller turned out to be a Chinese scammer. I submitted all the evidence to Paypal, including pre-existing reports to Scamwatch and police. They didn't even bother to read my complaint, let alone look at any of the attachments I sent. I pushed things further, providing more evidence not just of how I'd been scammed, but also how this particularl seller was operating dozens of fraudulent businesses in Australia. Paypal ignored that too. They've also refused reunds on faulty goods, goods that were nothing like what I ordered, and goods that never arrived. Paypal definitely don't protect the customer and actually make it deliberately hard to seek a refund. On top of that, they charge an extra 10c in every dollar on top of the current exchange rate from AUD to USD (and other currencies). That's not fees and charges which are additional, but them deciding what the exchange rate is and setting it 10c higher than the actual exchange rate, and then they prevent you from having the currency exchange handled by your bank or another institution. Paypal collects that extra money. So as well as not standing by their own, much-advertised customer protection policy, they actively support scammers and are themselves defrauding customers. Maybe it's time all the disgruntled customers got together and started a class action against Paypal?
Pros:
Nothing. There is nothing to like about Paypal.
Cons:
It does not protect customers (but it does protect scammers); customer service is non-existent; the account setup is hard to navigate; there is no buyer protection; Paypal is extorting money by setting its own exchange rates; the refund process is deliberately opaque to put people off making complaints; there is no way to seek restitutation from Paypal itself without engaging in a lengthy legal process.
Quickest Payment Method
Comments: My experience with PayPal is five star. I played mobile games and get instant payment. No hastle of
Pros:
It's the best, quickest and safest payment option.I like ease of getting payments , no hastle of writing bank details for getting payments.
Cons:
I wish it was available worldwide PayPal is not available in many countries.
My PP Filled Insight
Pros:
PayPal integrates with external accounting tools such as QBO, XERO and SAP CONCUR which makes it easy to carry out invoicing and billing.
Cons:
Ever since ai started using PP, I have never come across any error.
PayPal Review by G.Njoroge
Comments: I send and receive small bunches of payments online.
Pros:
Four years ago my account was limited and it had some balance which I received via F&F. Luckily, the only thing I like is that last year I created another account which is working fine, although I use Payoneer more than PP.
Cons:
Limiting account without a notice was one of the downsides which I experienced on PP.
PayPal one of the Best Payment Plot forms
Comments: Overall PayPal is an efficient product that covers more than 90% of your payment needs, with its fast, flexible and secure features. Despite a few short falls, it's an excellent Product.
Pros:
Its robust security features, speed of transactions and convenience for sending and receiving money, and the ability to make payments without needing a balance.
Cons:
I would like for PayPal to improve customer service relations and support, as well as reducing the transfer time of PayPal to PayPal accounts to less than a day. I would also like for PayPal to allow its customers to add Bank accounts outside of United States.
Paypal safety
Comments: I love Paypal, I always have problems paying on many sites, but with Paypal I was able to use a safe way to pay both through sites, and personal with my friends and in selling items online. The fact of being able to register multiple cards is very useful and allows me to pay with any of the options that I have available at the moment so that I do not always have to register all the data but through fast and easy access with email and password.
Pros:
Security, simplicity and speed in payments. The history of movements and the possibility of paying both as friends and with protected transactions. It is also very nice to be able to insert messages that are easily found in transactions
Cons:
There is nothing that has caused me any problems using Paypal! I forget my password sometimes but that's my problem! :)
PayPal is an online payment system that allows individuals and businesses to conduct financial transactions online easily .
Pros:
PayPal is a great site that allows me to receive money quickly and safely and provides me with protection when purchasing online. It also has the ability to link the account with the debit card.
Cons:
One common criticism of PayPal is its fees, especially for certain transactions like international transfers or receiving payments for goods and services.
This Company is Commiting Insider Fraud and Scams From the Fraud Department
Comments: Without a doubt, PayPal Credit's Fraud Department is behind the mass scams going on with clients' accounts. Just like most of the others who have left feedback, money has come up missing, and I caught them lying about it from the beginning. I put money into an online wallet, which they returned within two hours; I hadn't bought anything with it, and it was simply for future work. I confronted them right away about the missing money in August, and they said I had reported it as fraud, which was a complete lie. I have proof. I immediately said that I never claimed it was fraud; someone at PayPal Credit did. I began to ask for proof of me reporting it as fraud because I could have withdrawn it. That's when they admitted on three occasions that someone from the Fraud Department performed the return. Then, they would claim I did, then they would claim they did. Now again, they are claiming I did and had bought something with it. However, I don't believe they contacted the company because you don't purchase when you put money in the wallet. You add money to your wallet and then decide to purchase, so what they were saying didn't add up. The other company provided a refund number, saying they refunded it right away in August. I have eight official letters from them confirming it was returned, and PayPal Credit is falsely claiming they didn't and kept it for products I received, which is not true at all. The way they described why they kept the money doesn't make sense in terms of how this company does business. They kept telling me to talk to the other company, sending me in circles. Not to mention, I never requested the money to be returned; the PayPal Credit Fraud Department did, and now it's lost. I shouldn't be responsible for it; they initiated it. I have official correspondence where I'm telling the company I never requested the money be taken out of my wallet in August. Come to October 7, 2023, they had made a new account and forwarded the $1,227.00, making me pay for it. It's crazy how the money I caught them lying about ended up missing and, months later, was forwarded to my account. Now, they are making me pay for something they did in the first place. Not only do I have to pay for the missing money that they returned, but now they are also making me pay interest on it. I filed official police reports and contacted the Better Business Bureau. The Fraud Department is pocketing all this money; it's clear to see, with all these similar stories of PayPal Credit creating new accounts without clients' permission or knowledge, forwarding balances, pretending not to understand anything you're saying, spinning you in circles, and making up stuff that doesn't make sense. Too many of us are experiencing money just disappearing. It's going somewhere into someone's pocket, which isn't fair to us as consumers. Be very aware of the scams and fraud being committed by them and use caution.
Pros:
Nothing at all anymore because they are untrustworthy.
Cons:
They are stealing mass consumers money. They will create new accounts and request for your money to be returned without permission, then say you did it, then the money will come up 100% missing, after they were caught lying in the first place. They will then make you pay back the money, that they clearly stole from you back and interest too.
Reliable Payment Gateway: PayPal
Pros:
PayPal is the most widely used payment gateway tool so far. I like that it integrates with bank and credit cards. Another great aspect is what it allows users to pay even without accounts via buttons and invoices.
Cons:
My account was once limited for a month but later they reinstated. K have requested for a limit upgrade hope they will increase my receiving limit.
PayPal great unless you need cash back rewards
Comments: Used frequently since 2004. Wish I would have switched to competition ma my years earlier.
Pros:
Common well known name. Easy to integrate in most payment portals and personal usage.
Cons:
Very low rewards and payback on usage. Competitors which pays back extensive cash back percentages are now commonplace. PayPal does not and does not care to update that feature
PayPal makes payments easy
Comments: Overall I am really pleased with PayPal. It has helped me resolve disputes with customers and provides a sense of confidence for consumers.
Pros:
PayPal is a great platform for consumers and businesses. It gives people the confidence of a secure platform for transactions. It's new and updated escalation procedures also make it easy for customers to dispute payments,
Cons:
One of the cons I have found with PayPal is that it is no longer possible to make collections without a fee. This was a useful tool in our office when we were doing a present for someone in the office.
