Support is usually quick and helpful if you need to contact them for an issue. Although not customizable for some reason, the client information is laid out well and includes all communications with the client as well as any resources needed. We don’t use the email section but it is nice that it has the ability to add multiple email accounts. User permissions are pretty detailed but it would be nice to create your own custom roles. > > **Cons**: Honestly, the software feels incomplete and hampered by some really perplexing design decisions that really hurt productivity. There is no easily accessible area to view all communications with the clients or staff. For some odd reason they based all of the recurring projects on the due date instead of the start date so you have to calculate when the project is created based on how many days before its due. File management is atrocious. You can send file requests to clients monthly but after they upload you can only download or manipulate one at a time. There is no file editing capabilities built in but there is also no way to sync files so you are forced to download them each time. When uploading files after working on them it doesn’t give you the option to replace the existing file, just creates a separate copy. The worst has been their billing service that they implemented this year. They will hound you to use it even if it is a downgrade from what you are using. Additionally, they gated useful features like expanded reports and proposals to the billing module so that you can’t use them if you don’t use their merchant services.
