> **Pros**: InfluxDB 2.0 is easy in use and understandable for students. Influx is making it possible to store all the data of sensors, energy systems,... easily from software (Python, Node-Red) to visualisation. It is also possible to make visualisations in Influx, but we are using Influx mainly as Timeseries database. Very usefull when working with energy data sets that are time related.

> **Cons**: We where struggling in the past when Influx 1.0 went to Influx 2.0. A lot of our research projects had a complete different data structure. So it was a big adjustment. But now when using 2.0. It is better and Influx database became also a lot user friendly then in the past.

> Good as a Time  Series database. Ideal to teach students the link between programming, database and visualisations.
