Easy Remote Work

Stellar product to support our global team!
Pros:
Onboarding experience, from both the administrative and employee/contractor perspective, is some of the best I've experienced. Their CS team is also responsive and supportive. I love that they're open to UI feedback as well.
Cons:
They're still figuring out some UI bugs but again, because they're so open to customer feedback, this isn't a deal breaker for us.
Beyond the expensive subscription, expect high monetary and time costs due to their mistakes.
Comments:
As mentioned in my cons section: I was hired through remote.com while living in the Netherlands. They connected me to a local "expert" who completely messed up their understanding of local regulation, which ended up costing me thousands of Euros. A year later when this was clear, I had to spend hours and hours communicating with them via chat support and sending them the written proof of their mess up. Not only did I need to do my own research, and I ended up being way more knowledgable than their own "expert" on the local regulation, and had to spend days trying to get in contact with someone senior. But most of all, they refused any form of compensation for their mistake.
So to sum up again:
1. check your work calendar. Do you have 4 hours every week to spend on getting answers to issues that your remote employees face?
2. Is money not an issue for your employees, when remote.com messes up with local regulation?
Then they are the company for you.
Pros:
Amazing UI on their dashboard, makes it very simple to use on a day to day basis.
Cons:
They are not a real HR company, they provide a good looking platform, but then completely mess up on the HR side. This ended up costing a lot of money, and most of all for everyone worth considering it, time. tl;dr: 1. check your work calendar. Do you have 4 hours every week to spend on getting answers to issues that your remote employees face? 2. Is money not an issue for your employees, when remote.com messes up with local regulation? Then they are the company for you.

little flexibility: pre-payment for one of our employees was difficult to achieve way of invoicing: pre-payroll and actual payroll: this brings extra work as you have to check everything double

Comments: Our company is based in the US, but we needed a simple and efficient way to pay employees in Europe. Remote has made this process incredibly convenient.
Pros:
The platform offers a simple and user-friendly interface, making it incredibly easy to set up contracts and start the process. Everything is quick, accessible, and straightforward, which really streamlines the experience.
Cons:
The pricing could be more competitive, especially for smaller businesses or startups.

99% excellent just a couple annoyances
Comments: Remote is our key EOR partner and enables our business to move internationally without much issue. In general we are very happy with them.
Pros:
Great service, solid tech platform, reasonable pricing
Cons:
Payments used to be immediate now they take a couple days to be reflected, which is especially challenging as the company as a whole is very unforgiving of any payment delays and will freeze your account. It's very disruptive.
Very user-friendly service that provides great HR value

The system is very comprehensive - I am not sure there has ever been a service I wanted to implement that I was unable to. The customer support is also very helpful.
Cons:
It can get expensive, especially with a growing team.

Great Support and Customer Service
Comments: I have had great customer service reps and they really do listen to feedback and add features. It isn't instant, but I have been happy with it.

The pricing- especially for insurance internationally- can be high.
Out of Country Employees
Comments: Remote has made it tremendously easy to work with our out of country employees. They handle almost everything and keep us updated on anything we need to know or approve.

Easy use for our out of the country employees.
Cons:
We have not terminated any employees with Remote, but we were informed that we would have to give plenty of notice if we were going to work with them to give a severance. This has not been an issue, I just have not used the process yet.

A go-to EOR system
Comments: I've had a very positive experience with Remote so far, and am looking forward to more work with them. I would recommend Remote to any HR individual considering to expand their buisness to other countries in which they do not have subsidiaries.
Pros:
My most favoraite thing about Remote is the customer service. Other systems also provide employee payroll options but they do not have a superb customer service as Remote. Starting from designated Customer Success Manager to Use Happiness Team, they are always ready to help, and VERY responsive. Prior to Remote, they would take anywhere from 24-48 hours for a simple response, but Remote team will respond within 12-24 hour block.
Cons:
One thing I recently discovered is that their time-off tracking does not include childcare leave days. An employee has inquired about it only showing time-off days, but not government required childcare days.

It´s been a great experience so far, any time I raise a request for support, I get the necessary help within the desired timelines, [sensitive content hidden] has helped me in a very professional and proactive way.

I cannot mention any bad point so far in the experience I am having working with Remote.
The most convenient way to get employment benefits anywhere in the world

The ease of use and clutter free UI. The UI is well thought out and bug free. Never had any problems

We started with Remote when they were a start-up themselves, which meant we grew as a company as they did - and were able to share feedback and see the implementation of new features we requested. The collaboration with Remote continues to be awesome and we intend to have Remote as a strategic partner as we scale.
Pros:
Remote's software enables Phaidra to bring on new talent from almost anywhere in the world. Their support team is helpful and thoughtful in their communication.
Cons:
It would be great to have more transparency into what stage new employees are in during onboarding. Specifics (like if Remote sent the onboarding email, etc.) would be great!

First Experience with Remote
Comments: Absolutely amazing, considering HR services is complex with all the details, but remote is able to simplify process even without having to collect any hardcopy files unless for contract.
Pros:
Providing support upon employment contractual for overseas company complete with all the details needed to comply with local regulation

So far I have to admit that nothing disappoint me yet from my personal experience
Hiring talent across the world made easy
Pros:
It made our life easier. Thanks to Remote we have been able to hire talent from countries where we don't have presence in, offer compliant contracts and save time on payroll management. We also received support with tax and legal issues specific to different cases. Whoever we had a problem, the Remote team has gone above and beyond to find a solution.
Cons:
Because onboarding employees in every country depends on local regulations, it requires and a proactive approach from the person doing the enrollment and being in contact with the onboarding/happiness team.
Easy to use, constantly improving
