> **Cons**: Otis AI started off with a strong sales call, we gave them access to our accounts as they requested, and then we filled out their onboarding forms for each of our clients we were planning on them managing. Right at launch we were told that they would be launching the ads through their own accounts and that they would not be able to use our MCC account. As a digital marketer with over a decade of experience running numerous Google Ads accounts this came as a huge surprise. First, this allows Otis to own all of the data and forces their partners to risk loosing all historical data if they walk away. Second, this prevents goes against all best practices for running an account on a clients behalf. After going back and forth, Otis AI was not willing to work out of our MCC account. We asked to part ways and receive a refund as this was at the very beginning of our engagement. The ads had never even went live, that is how early this all was. While both parties were disappointed, we agreed to part ways and were told by their Sr. Account Executive that we would get a refund. After many weeks and many emails, all including their \[sensitive content hidden\]

In the end, they said they were keeping the fees and claimed we were misinformed. Regardless of them refusing to refund our fees, no reliable or respected agency operates from their own Google Ads accounts.  Especially one that manages clients on behalf of another agency.
