> The Produce Pro software package along with its add-on PLUS modules help keep our company competitive in an ever changing market. It allows us to fill all of the needs of our customers in a very fast efficient and productive manor. As a wholesale produce company in the Pittsburgh market we deal with a very diverse customer base. Produce Pro allows us to meet the special requests from all of our customers to make Consumers a vendor they want to return to time and time again.

In 2004 I joined the Consumers team as the IT Director. The company had already been using the software for a number of years at that point. I found the training staff of Produce Pro made it very easy for me to learn the software and provided all the resources that I required to educate myself at my own pace. This allowed me to build the skills to help support the organization and help it to grow in how the software package was integrated into our business. The flexibility of the software to conform quickly and easily to our business needs makes it a leader in our industry. You will not ever hear "I am sorry we can't do that in our software" from them. They strive to always find a way to fill those needs.

When implementing any upgrade or major change to our software the Produce Pro team has always taken a hands-on approach. Either remotely or on site at our facility they make sure to be in constant contact with us to ensure the transition is smooth and easy. Produce Pro as a company continues to strive to stay on top of all developing changes to the produce industry to keep their software and their staff up to date. They also make it a priority to keep us as a customer informed of the developing changes to the industry that will affect the software and how we use it. They listen carefully to the needs of their customers and allow them to take part in developing the direction of all of their software packages.

> As a full line produce wholesaler and tomato repacker, our needs went beyond tracking sales and inventory.  At the time our business was being run on "canned" software and we enlisted our reseller to find us a better option.  After checking all of the competition, he said that Produce Pro was hands down the best solution for our business.  That was 1993.  Fast forward 15 years to 2008 - we repeated the process by looking at the competition and actually having Produce Pro "sell" us like we were a new customer.  Our management team instructions were clear: start with a blank page, list all of the necessary and important functions that we needed software to accomplish and then pick the best solution for us.  They unanimously chose Produce Pro\!

In our commitment to being on the leading edge, we have since undertaken both software and hardware upgrades.  With the help of Produce Pro, we recently completed the GTIN labeling component of our PTI compliance program.  They integrated seamlessly with our labeling vendor and the software intuitively handled the process.  Our production floor is flowing more efficiently while tracking every case.  Produce Pro understands our business and had already designed geeky processes that flow alongside of our product flow.  They are committed to being the leader in software solutions for us and other top tier fresh food handlers.
