Extremely time-consuming

In my nursing home, we were using PointClickCare (PCC), first. The ownership has changed 2 years ago, and we started using this product. It has been a nightmare although we are now used to this product..... One of the examples that explains how terrible this system is medication pass. I have been working morning shift. This product takes extra one hour or more to pass morning medications compared to PCC\!\! You can imagine how other parts are also time-consuming. Nurses have no time to take good care of residents any more.

> **Pros**: NOTHING\!\!  This software is not user friendly.  The things that you need to be able to do that are pretty straight forward (like scheduling a PRN medication) are not sensible and are frustrating.

> **Cons**: The inability to schedule medications/treatments to what is needed.  Have to create a special code for "everything", though you can't create a frequency like the first Monday of the month or PRN tid (must do an 8 hour prn though thats not what tid prn means).
> 
> I use it in a nursing facility.  Our facility did reconstruction a few years ago and there is no ability to remove/hide the previous beds that were used even though no one is in those beds.  I have used both Matrix and Point Click Care and would prefer both of those to this lack-luster system.  Their staff is helpful, but they can't do anything that their programing won't allow.  The system has had moderate difficulty with the new MDS requirements.  It is an overall terrible system that I would NEVER recommend to anyone.
