> **Pros**: The software has excellent customer support.  Billing and collecting for utility services is efficient and accurate when using Northstar.  In the ever changing world of utilities, Northstar offers an array of billing mechanisms based on our services provided and the technology used by our department.

> **Cons**: Northstar is a sophisticated system and many of the options or processes available, our company does not utilize.  That is not a demining statement, the vast amount of options the system offers could benefit some companies.  Northstar has a lot of capabilities, so what I like least about Northstar is the time it takes to become accustomed to  the system.

> I am very please with the Northstar product itself and the customer support is top notch.

Rules Engines that supports uniqueness of a utility's workflow to be "configured" vs "$$customized$$" as part of industry best practices. 

Excellent Customer Self-Service via the web modules.

Strong cashiering/payment functionality. 

Intergrated Financials.
