Measuring measure directly from drawings and revision function are excellent. The user interface is REALLY un-intuitive, there is a huge learning curve, and it's difficult to use. The system is slow, navigating around a drawing is very laggy. Auto takeoff features don't work well at all, particularly on civil engineering drawings with many intersecting lines or areas > > I know CostX is well regarded in the industry and is full featured. It however is quote slow to use (rendering and navigation). CostX contains may features and tools, but these are buried in menus and under options that make navigation and use difficult for new users without significant training.
