Support is unresponsive and dismissive, often taking days or weeks to reply. Even worse, canceling the contract is almost impossible, trapping you in a system that doesn’t work. Every aspect — design, functionality, service, and communication — feels broken. This software has been an expensive and exhausting mistake. > > After committing to DrChrono I discovered the system is virtually unusable without major workarounds. The interface is outdated, non-intuitive, and clunky — basic workflows require excessive clicks, tabs and navigation that make daily use inefficient. The implementation phase dragged for months, full of delays, unresolved issues and staff-downtime that disrupted practice operations. The training offered was insufficient: generic, basic, did not address our specialty’s workflow or busy-practice realities. Support is slow, often unhelpful, and you’re essentially locked into a contract with minimal freedom to cancel or exit—even when the system clearly fails to deliver on its promises. For any practice seeking a modern, streamlined, user-friendly EHR, I strongly caution against DrChrono. And their staff is incredibly uneducated in claims billing. We never had these problems before. Even appointment scheduling had been an issue with losing data recently. They refuse to cancel my contract even though I did not agree to a fee increase or a renewal. I did not sign a contract with the new company. They refuse to speak on the phone.
