### "Best option for Telnet; not so much for other deployments" — 5.0/5

> **Pros**: Packages already exist for their Telnet application on a supported device. Makes deployment very fast.

> This is a great MDM. Wavekink makes the very best Telnet client for portable devices in the barcode world. So Avalanche is totally integrated and packages are already on their website. It makes deployment a breeze. 
Remote control works well (although not the fastest in the industry). The feature set is otherwise very functional but basic. This is for sure the GO TO product when using their Telnet client. In other cases, it remains a great product. But there are other great options. Talking to a specialist would be a good start to see what is best for your environment. 

This is probably not the product for managing many types of devices (computers, laptops, barcode terminals, tablets, ...).

Finally, although it once was outstanding, support has suffered recently and it's not as easy to get help. Maybe we've just been unlucky.
